This Mosque was very close to my hotel and so I visited it on my way out. Yes it is a nice mosque to visit when you are in town.

“A Floating but Not A Free Mosque”
Reviewed 7 February 2014

It is a very nice mosque in the middle of a river. It is very simple and small. However it does charge for entry as it exhibits miniatures of famous mosques all over the world, as a mosque, I don't think it should charge any entrance fee at all.

“beautiful”
Reviewed 6 November 2013

this white colour mosque, located on the left hand side of main Route 3, near Kuala Ibai River, on the way going to south, is really a small gem in Kuala Terengganu town. it is the first floating mosque at Malaysia. The mosque was open at 1995 by late Sultan of state Terengganu, and it was a gift for His mother, Tengku Zaharah.

Modern and Moorish style architecture and also cramics material, white marble and also the quiet atmosphere, making it a MUST visit place at Kuala Terangganu.

How to go : take bus to south area, and drop after 4 KM from KT town, or hired teksi.
