Thank You for amazing honeymoon! We spend one week in Long Beach hotel and had half board package. Food was very tastefull and I also liked the room and pools and the scenery. We also used gym which was modern. They had plenty of activities in the hotel. We definitely want to came back someday!

If I have something to complain about, it is the price of a water.

I was at Long Beach Hotel last week unfortunately was only for 10 days.

The hotel are magnificent Very big modern room see view , Cleaning Service excellent, 5 Fantastic Restaurant. Beautiful Beach perfect for joking or relaxing . long Beach is perfect for Family with children, couple, an single person. everybody make you fill at home, A fantastic Band in the evening great Dance Show almost every night...

I was in holiday only my self and the staff with there duty never make fill along, I'll look forward to return next year.. I just love this Hotel.

One of the newest hotels on the island. Great architecture and well kept rooms/suites.

You do however feel like a number and not a valued guest. The service training provided to the staff is of an exceptional low quality. Staff appear unhappy and I believe this impacts the service guests receive.

We have been to various resorts on the island over the past 6 years, all of which left us with great memories. Long Beach was not a great experience. We will return to Mauritius as it is a great family destination BUT we will NOT return to Long Beach.

We have holidayed at Mauritius on many occasions and have always appreciated the absolute beauty, service and complete hospitality of the Mauritians. The general design of hotels are of a Mauritius colonial nature so when we arrived at Long beach Hotel we were blown away by the absolute modern feel given to the hotel.

Standard Rooms are disappointing and are spread out - most "ground floor" rooms are actually off the ground by a meter and half and overlook the roof tops of the superior rooms in front allowing a very limited view of the sea. We had originally requested a ground floor in order for our Grand kids to run straight out onto lawn and were all very disappointed, so we requested an upgrade which cost us 50 euro a room for that privilege. The rooms generally were well equipped and the bed slept well however we have stayed in better rooms before.
The service was faultless and the food is excellent however drinks are very pricey. Over and above the main dining restaurant there is a Italian, Japanese and Chinese restaurants which one needs to pay a supplement for we ate at two of the three and they were very good indeed once again the service and friendliness of staff is overwhelming. This hotel is first class the pools , bars and all other facilities are just fantastic and the beach is pristine . There is great entertainment at night for those who wish - really what's not to like ? Nothing! Its a perfect resort where all your needs are taken care of and all one needs to do is eat, sleep, and relax. Amazing! Top star!

We went to Long Beach for our Honeymoon (on our first anniversary) and had the most amazing, special, fancy, exciting, relaxing 10 days. We were in room 305 which was on the second floor, had a lovely balcony with good sea views, modern bathroom and lovely, spacious, coordinated room with everything you could think of. Our room was cleaned twice a day, including a turn-down service and very well done towel-swans!

My husband learned how to sail and windsurf, with huge thanks to Danny at the Beach House, so friendly, helpful and patient! We also used the glass bottom boat, pedalo and went snorkelling – truly amazing! Unfortunately it was a bit windy on some days (but still lovely and warm) and there is quite a bit of coral, but the lovely pool was sheltered nicely so we relaxed on the loungers with an iced coffee there instead of the beach. The pool had two lovely spa areas, close to the bar, pool-side service and there was arranged water polo in the mornings. There was also a gym, tennis, pitch and putt golf and table tennis, as well as organised bike rides and day trips.

Breakfasts were in the main buffet restaurant, nice but got slightly boring after a while. We dined at all of the other restaurants which were all great (especially the exclusive Seafood Extravaganza) and needed to be booked in advance. We were also lucky enough to be invited to two Managers Cocktail evenings and even got to meet Vladamir (Hotel Owner), which was a nice touch. For our anniversary, we arranged lovely breakfast on our balcony and staff were really helpful in suggesting and arranging a reservation at a restaurant nearby.

The Tourist Information office was very helpful, arranging a boat/lagoon/snorkelling trip, car hire, giving us maps and suggestions, also organising a submarine trip!

The only issue we experienced was the arrival of a conference which significantly increased guest numbers (apparently still only two-thirds full) with employees and their families unfortunately changing the quietness and ambience. Overall we had an extremely lovely, special time and would definitely recommend this hotel, however can imagine it gets very windy at times…

Room Tip: We didn't upgrade to a seafront room which looked lovely but were still happy with ours.

Beautiful surroundings, big and nice rooms but very bad service. If you pretend to be a 5 stars, you could at least teach your personnel to know tha base of service: smiles are not enough.
The week ends must have special rates to fill the hotel because it gets crowded with families and children so the service can't follow. Too bad...

Great hotel, great location, phenomenal service - it will forever be a second home to me and my husband :) The hotel staff went beyond their call of duty to make us feel at home, and respond to ALL our needs in planning and having our wedding at Long Beach. The rooms are all sea facing, spacious with amazing outdoor spaces. The facilities provided by the hotel are amazing, heated pools in the winter, underwater walking experiences at the hotel's beach, and excursions to Ile Aux Cerf lagoon/island - the makings of a truly great holiday! I frequented the spa as much as I did the pool! The hotel staff, in particular, Daren, Vedasan, Jean-Michel, Dario, Navin, Chandan, Yusuf and others - hands off to you guys for being the BEST hotel staff I have ever had the pleasure to meet :) We will undoubtedly be back here!
