During our Mauritius trip we stayed in 2 other 5 star hotels on the east coast of the island. In Lux Hotel Belle mare we experienced the lowest level of Service. Compared to the 2 others we noticed that the staff of Lux is missing the 5 star engagement and attitude. It can be missing motivation or training.
Here 3 samples:
1. at the breakfast we was seated and we asked for a tea and cappuccino. 15 min later we ask an other waiter to follow up the drinks. The waiter went away, shouted shortly on the other waiter who seated us, in front of all the guests. 5 min later we received the drinks
2. In the junior suite we had no shower gel and the suspender of the shampoo was broken
3. There was no ironing board and flat iron in the room. When we requested to deliver us one we only received the iron, onboard. Later we was waked up by the room service as they urgently need the iron for an other guest. Next morning we received finally both. board and iron More
