“Best price value for nice decorated and cosy home close to beach with marvelous sunsets”
Reviewed 7 April 2016 for a stay in March 2016

There's not much to say more after all the rezensions of the former guest, which are deventily true! Feeling at home after 5 minutes! :D
I spent 12 days with my 12 y son. Enjoyed the close beach of Flic en Flac and Wolmars beach is very nice also. Rented a car after 3 days driving with the cheap bus before, which leaves every 10 minutes just in front of the complex. ZUB EXPRESS offers a lot of nice food..also Rib&Beef in town is marvelous. Just a 5 minutes walk down the street towards Wolmar is a nice place for massages called Mystic Massages. Flic en Flac is the perfect place to stay..because - by car u are close to a lot of things u can do and have a look at. The nature is much more interesting then in the north. Car rental for 25 Euro/day possible in a little garage around the corner of SPAR, where u can book all kind of guided tours.
The pool gets realy looked after very well. watching a guy checking and treating the water twice in 12 days.
And last but not least - Brian is the most helpful landlord I experienced in my life! WE WILL DEFENITLY COME BACK! :D
The last star he wil get, if there will be a teapot, a huk in the ceiling for a mosquito net (so u can leave the nice big window open during the night not using the aircon) and a different matrace in the second room, which he mentioned allready to buy! LOL
It was a perfect stay and we enjoyed it a lot! Thank u Brian!
If u need a bigger home, just ask him, he got a nice little house to rent also in the North directly at the beach! :D

“Very nice and modern apartment”

I stayed here for 5 nights and paid £28 per night. The apartment is on the southern part of the Coastal Road in the direction of Wolmar. The apartment is opposite the beach but it is at the back of the apartment complex so you don't get any sea views. The apartment itself is very clean, spacious with a modern decor. There is no bath, just a shower room. The communal swimming pool is clean. There is a supermarket [Spar] 15 minutes away on foot and a smaller food store 3 minutes away. The apartment complex is situated next door to Zub Express restaurant which is rated on Trip Advisor as the number 1 restaurant in Flic en Flac. The owner Brian is very friendly and helpful.

“Great value for money”

Had a wonderful week close to the beach and within walking distance of a variety of restaurants. A great Indian restaurant next door. A bus stop at the front of the apartments has buses regularly travelling to a large shopping mall about 10 minutes away. Brian was very helpful and was available to answer questions and provide whatever support was needed. Tour operators and supermarkets are in close proximity. The accommodation was very comfortable and has a well equipped kitchen and washing machine.

“Relaxing holiday in a pleasant apartment with all the mod cons and within a secure beach front complex.”
Reviewed 26 April 2015 for a stay in March 2015

I am a Mauritian who live in England and visit Mauritius every year. I always spent part of my holiday at the resort of Flic-en-Flac on the west coast as it has all that is required for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. Most importantly, it has the longest white sandy beach in Mauritius. It also has a very good public transport to get to the capital Port-Louis or other main towns.
My partner and I stayed in Brian’s apartment for the last 18 nights (6-24th March 2015) of our holiday. It is situated in a beachfront complex known as OCEANSIDE which is on the coastal road and next to the Zub Express Restaurant.
The complex comprises 2 buildings. A 3 storey building at the front with Sea View and a 2 storey building at the back with Mountain View. Our apartment was on the second floor of the 2 storey building. There are secure parking and a shared non-heating swimming pool. The complex has very good security. Access by cars is from the road at the back and is controlled by a remote control electronic gate. Access to the beach is just a few steps away at the front through a pin coded gate
The apartment has two spacious double bedrooms with pleasant bedroom furnitures and air conditioning. Additional bed linen and towels, including beach /swimming pool’s towels, were provided There is a large open style combined kitchen//diner/lounge which leads to a balcony. The dining table was very nice with chairs to seat 6 people. There is a sofa bed and armchair, a TV cabinet with a flat screen TV and TNT TV channels. The kitchen was fully equipped with utensils, gas oven and hobs, microwave oven, fridge freezer, electric kettle, toaster, washing machine & iron. There was also a water purifier
The owner Brian is a very pleasant, informative, and helpful young man. Request made for an additional set of keys for the apartment was promptly sorted plus request for late check-out was granted.
A few more glasses for short drinks (e.g. the local rum) & few more dishes for cereals / desserts would have been useful. Some guests may also find a rice cooker and pressure cooker handy.
There is a bus stop outside the complex which is very handy. So is the restaurant next door. There are many restaurants, Spar supermarket, other smaller supermarkets, some shops and other main amenities (Pharmacies, Money changers, Tour Operators, Tourist Information Centre) within a leisurely walk along the coastal road. It also takes only 10 minutes ride by bus to Cascavelle Shopping Village where there is a great variety of shops, banks, supermarket, network providers and many restaurants
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the apartment. We would not hesitate to go back or to recommend it to family and friends
