The house is so nice; cute bedrooms and nice exterior living room.
The swimming pool is beautiful and every days cleaned by the maintenance staff.
The hygiene is impeccable. The sheets are regulary changed.

Such an hotel in house intimacy.

The owner, Fanny and Julien, are always at your service to book activity or organize what you desire.
You don't have to take care about anything, they do everything for you.
Even if you would like to have a nice diner or lunch in the riad you can ask for what you wanna try. I would recommend that you try it cause the dishes are really cheap and tasty.

We were a group of four travelling to Essaouria from Marrakesh. We booked this online and I paid the deposit in French (I cannot read French).

When we arrived we went into Essaouria to the Tourist Office as we had no idea where it was they sent us on a wild goose chase right out about 15km. We rang the Riad and it went through to the owner in France who was very pleasant explaining where it was. When we finally found a driveway in the middle of no where in the dust and heat of the day we pulled up and spoke to the caretakers. There was no one else there and it looked like they were not expecting us. We were not sure where we were suppose to eat etc as you are in the middle of no where. Nothing is in walking distance. The beach is miles (10) away down a dirt track. We asked to speak to the owner who we didnt know was in France the caretaker called her and spoke and said she would call us back as she had an appointment in Paris. She never called and never took our calls. We left having done our deposit. Stayed in a beautiful hotel in Essaouria and had a wonderful time. I emailed her this week when I got home asking if she would refund the money as we felt mislead about the location of the hotel and she said BAD LUCK. So if you want the same experience (as the last posting) which hadnt been posted when I booked please DO NOT STAY THERE. As well as being in the middle of no where you certainly dont want to deal with the likes of Lil.

I would give it 1 star – for their beautiful & misleading website and the art of lying that the owner excels in.

Me and my husband booked Villa Saada for 5 days (from 7 to 12 July), after discussing about Villa Saada’s services, facilities and price with its owner (Lili). As per the owner the best & most romantic room of their riad was “Babouche”, and we confirmed the following things with the owner by calling her 2-3 times:
1) The room has good sun light: there has to be a window or
something.,
2) The room has AC for sure.
3) We don’t want to be alone in the whole riad. So the owner
confirmed that she has already got 2 more reservations.
4) The owner said that the closest beach is just 10 minutes far from the riad.

We hired a car from Marrakesh and drove to Essaouira but didn’t find any Villa Saada sign board 15kms before Essaouira! So we called the owner and she said its 15kms from Essaouira towards Agadir! So we drove towards Agadir (those 15kms took 30 minutes, as the roads are quite busy and narrow), after 15kms we found the sign board written Villa Saada 200 meters
and a rough pebble-sandy road was going inside! For the first time me and my husband thought : where are we going to stay!! Should we go inside?!
Finally we went on that road hoping it was not going to affect the car! And we reached Villa Saada, a bit scared, thinking that each time we go to Essaouira we will have to return to the riad before evening!

Then we met the people working there. They were really nice. They showed us the complete riad and the room where we were going to stay for the next 5 days.
The room was well decorated but there was no source of sun light, no window and no AC in the room!!! The room was really like a decorated store room!
We were surprised that the owner lied to us! And then from the present caretaker of the riad we came to know that we were alone in the riad and no other bookings were there. If we wanted he could show us other rooms to stay as the whole riad was empty!!! We were so shocked and so without words that we
couldn’t understand what to do!

As Villa Saada is so well situated :
- you have to eat every meal in Villa Saada only! May be you can go out for lunch but that’s minimum 30 minutes to reach anywhere!
- And if you don’t have your own vehicle then don’t even think about Villa Saada!!!
- We found that the the nearest beach (i.e. Sidi Kaouki ) is 12.5 kms from Villa Saada. The beach is very good, must see beach. But the total 12kms are on a single road so it takes minimum 25 minutes to reach!
- There is no view from the riad!

After discussing every thing we thought its better to talk to the owner and cancel the reservation as she lied to us and its not possible to stay here. So we call Lili (in France) and told here that there is no AC, no source of sun light in the room and no other people! She said that see its not so hot, so you don’t need AC in the night! And other people cancelled the booking last moment! Despite what she said, it is hot in day and you need AC and its really scary to stay alone in a riad in the middle of nowhere! Plus, she lied to us for so many things! (now her way of talking completely changed) She said every thing is mentioned on the website and why have you called me to ask and now every thing is in front of you, if you want to stay pay the rest 50% to the caretaker otherwise your already paid 50% is gone, that’s a non refundable amount as mentioned on the website!!! (Oh [-]!!! We thought how come she is talking like that!!) she added that even the other people who were coming to Villa Saada, cancelled the booking at the last moment and lost their money. We said it means you are running your riad with the cancellation price by fooling the people by your well developed website and your sweet lying! She said its like this if you want
to stay then stay, else go.

But we thought that its not possible to stay in that room, in Villa Saada and in that place. So we went back to Essaouira in search of a room and surprisingly found that the rooms were in comparison quite cheap and better then Villa Salla! We found our room in Hotel des îles, 4star, one of the best & oldest hotels of Essaouira and moreover on the sea front, in 80€ (same price we gave for Villa Saada!)!!!

We found that Marrakesh and Essouira are totally different places. If you are going to Essaouira book the room in Essaouira only and not in some nearby place! You can even stay in its medina, its safe and clean. The city is quiet and there is no sound or air pollution. The nearby resorts and riads like Villa Saada (which are far from Essaouira and the sea) have illogically increased their prices and are fooling people. If you are staying in Essaouira, in the same or cheaper price (don’t forget to
bargain! in Morocco you can ask for discount in any Hotel or shop) you can easily find better room with good sunlight, swimming pool, variety in food, beach at walking distance, places to visit, no need to take taxi and can also go to some beautiful bars like Taros in the evening. And the city is as quite as its nearby places.
