“Appauling customer service!”

The hotel wasn't to the standard you would expect from a 5 star, however the rooms were spacious. The bathroom needed a good clean and cracked tiles and bath would have benefitted from being replaced. We found the staff at breakfast rude and unhelpful on more than one occasion. To add insult to injury we were literally forced to pay a local tax upon check out, even though the site we had booked through specifically stated that 'ALL' taxes were included.

Very bare hotel, large open spaces, no plants and no character at all. Our room was the same very cold feeling. Bathroom adequate. Restaurant food, buffet not good at all. A very rude so called chef serving the supposed to be hot food. Breakfast the same very poor. Outside by the beach they are building a prominade so not very nice at present.

Room Tip: Downstairs if you would like french doors onto communal terraces.

Fairly typical International hotel. Spacious with rooms typical of an international chain. On the sea front not far from town and the port. The food was quite good but the service was dreadful. The staff resisted allowing us to eat on the terrace for breakfast because if we did then the germans might want to as well and they had not layed the tables! It was so difficult to attract the attention of our waiter to pay for our drinks in the evening (just water as the wine was so expensive) we walked out. We found the waiter at breakfast who was panicking as he had had to pay for the water personally so we set his mind at rest and his service improved immediately and he was all smiles from then on.

Room Tip: Back of hotel probably quieter than the front, especially as the bar was at the front and the live m...

The hotel is clean, offers comfort, the room is very modern and nice. The breakfast offers a lot of choices, the food offering at the pool is somewhat limited and slow.
The bar is nice, wine was soso. The spa is amazing. Watch out for special offers. Got one treatment with 50 reduction. Best massage I ever had! Overall, the hotel is nicely located directly at the beach, the pool is large and the old city is in walking distance (15 minutes).

Not quite what you'd expect from a 5 star hotel, but still pretty good. And for £30 pp, it was great. Lovely big outdoor swimming pool. Decent sized rooms with comfy beds. We ate in the buffet restaurant one night. which was fine, but not particularly special.

Stayed 2 nights. Room had everything you would expect and sliding doors leading out on to the patio on the ground floor. Clean and spacious, but pillows hard. Not much character, could have been anywhere in the world. Swimming pool very pleasant area, but I imagine that you could get sunburnt very easily, as it is a windy place. Building works on road outside and all along the beach, it will probably improve it. Difficult to find staff to order a drink. We eventually found somebody at the pool bar, but he had to phone through to someone else for them to bring it, so a long wait. Restaurant was buffet, good choice and chef served you, who was very pleasant. If you ate early you could watch the sunset from the windows. Bar had music playing far too loud, and when the live artists appeared still too loud. We sat outside to get away from it, with our sundowners and watched the sunset, magic. Lovely walk along to the port early morning to see the fishermen come in. Loved Essouira town, the best markets we came across, bought most of our gifts here, as you could see the artisans actually working. Their marquetry is superb.

Room Tip: Choose a room away from the road.

Only stayed one night, but enjoyed it a lot.
My room was close to reception, so i had wifi in my room. But many of my colleagues were further away, and had none.
The restaurant was good, loved the buffet style. But if you're with a big party, book ahead to have them set up a big table. we waited a bit late, so it took staff a while to set up.
There was a bit of wear and tear noticeable in the bathroom and i couldn't figure out the shower, so i took a bath.
Other than that, the staff were delightful, particularly the young man who saw me struggling with my bags and dropped what he was doing to help.
Very Happy. I intend to return.

Room Tip: Ask for one close to the elevators, You should be able to get wifi.
