The pluses - the location is great, set right on the outer edge of the medina & the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was very good - freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh coffee & a typical fried bread / pancake with great jams. Now to the not so goods - the pictures definitely make this place look nicer than it actually is. The bathrooms were very grungy - some in our group preferred not to shower in the morning than to use the facilities. And the worst part of all - the sheets on our bed were not changed. When we brought it the the managers attention, they dealt with it straight away, but sorry unchanged sheets gets a 2* rating!

Fantastic road in the heart of the median. The hosts were lovely and unassuming. Rooms large and airy. Unbelievably quiet considering the location. Roof terrace was beautiful and sunny. Very highly recommended

Great place! Very charming, with character. The rooftop terrace is a great place to chill (and dry out clothes, btw). The staff is laid back and very friendly. Informal here, yet also nicely run and very clean. Also wonderfully quiet--tucked in away from the pedestrian road (with no cars around the enclosed town). The complimentary breakfast is very good. Just a neat place, in a neat setting! My couple of days in Essaouira were not enough.

Room Tip: If you can handle stairs, I suggest higher up

We found this nice riad and we falled in love. Rooms are very traditional with mic beldi tiles on floor and a cheminy in every room. Staff is very kind and we spented two wonderful nights. Essaouira is cold during nights in february so they warm our room.
Breakfast is very good and traditional. We spented 250 dirham night that is very good price cause was low season. Recommended for low budget. They also have a nice roof terrace.

Room Tip: Ask for the double room in first floor

Centrally located - perfect really. The hotel provides a wonderful breakfast and a beautiful area in which to have it. The staff are kind, helpful and knowledgeable. The shop attached is great too. There are places to sit and relax and just admire the surroundings.
