The majority of restaurants in Essaouira sell pretty much the same food (tagine, cous cous, etc). The difference with this place, is that a lot more care has been placed in its preparation.
I am not a big fan of savoury with with fruit - but I have to say their lamb with apricots was superb - the flavours were very subtle.
Of the 10 nights we were in Essaouira, we visited Dar Loubane four times (after we 'discovered' it) - the food was always of a high standard, and the French couple that run it are lovely.
In my opinion, the best restaurant in the town.
