This restaurant was in a good location, but wasn't especially good. The staff was friendly. We ordered a seafood pastilla and seafood pasta. Both were decent, but not incredible. No complaints, but I also wouldn't recommend it.

We went to Le Nectar because we were hungry and it was the first place on the right as we turned into the square. The menu looked ok (although on reflection, too many dishes should have made us suspicious) and we were drawn by the travellers maxim that if other people are in there already, they know something we don't. Actually, I think they probably also stopped beer because it was the first place they came to. There was one, sullen, waitress dealing with a full house of maybe 25 guests. It took 15 minutes to get our order taken and then we were given some bread and olives while we waited for food. We were sympathetic to the demands of a busy restaurant with limited staff (Perhaps if it wasnt Ramadan they would have had more staff on) but after waiting an hour, with two hungry children, we asked for the bill to pay for our drinks so that we could go down the road and buy pizza. We were told to wait one minute and miraculously our food appeared. Not so miraculous when it must have taken all of one minute to put together. My son ordered spaghetti au fromage and got, literally, a small plate of cold spaghetti with some grated cheese on top. My other son asked for a cheese omelette and got it, without so much as a piece of limp parsley to garnish or accompany it. My vegetable soup was pureed carrot in water and my husbands couscous au legumes was as dull and bland as it gets. Other families in the restaurant who had been waiting as long as us saw that our request for the bill was the magic key to getting our dinners. If you are ever bound by necessity to eat here, remember this trick and use it wisely. However, if you are looking for somewhere to eat in this area then just avoid Le Nectar and choose one of the much better options in the square.
