We went for a day trip from Marrakech to Essaouira. Our driver recommended this restaurant for lunch.
The food was not very good, and expensive for what we got.
For seven small shrimp, one very hot pepper, and a few vegetables it was 210 MAD. The waiter told me I would get 6 large prawn - he even showed me the size they would be. That was not what I got.
My husband got a fish platter which was 350 MAD, that consisted of 3 small fish (all different types), 2 small shrimp, and a squid, plus rice, a few vegetables, and a very hot pepper. The fish were okay, but so small it was hard to get the bit of meat off of the bones. The squid was tough like rubber (not edible), the shrimp were small, but alright.
It was nice to sit outside on the patio by the ocean, and have a couple of cold beers. This was the best part. We should have just stopped for drinks, and eaten elsewhere.
The service was good - such a shame the food was not. The facility and location are nice. They have a lovely large outdoor patio right at the beach with views of the Atlantic Ocean, as well as an indoor section that looked quite nice.
We visited this restaurant on May 25, 2014.
