We stayed for 2 days here as a break from the hassle and bustle of Marrakch
As mentioned before, the thing that makes Riad Waiter so special is the service. We were treated so nicely by Jean and the other staff there. Always greetwed witha smile!
After spending hectic and busy days in Marrakech we found Essaouira a very relaxing town, and teraace with the sea view was superb.
We would really like to return one day to this haven.

Jean is a true host, full of excellent recommendations on places to visit, eat, and generally be entertained. Beautifully appointed generous rooms great bathrooms, all very traditionally Moroccan. The roof terrace for breakfast is a great way to start the day, orange juice as fresh as it can be, moroccan pancakes, homemade breads, jams, omlettes....Next time must try dinner in and a haman

Our stay at Watier was truly unforgettable and we have since discussed on a number of ocassions how unusually genuine the staff were. Jean-Gabriel: one of the most relaxed and accommodating owners I have had the pleasure of meeting. All of the staff: always friendly, genuinely caring and a breath of fresh air. The Riad itself is incredibly stylish with quirky details that make it unique.

We spent a couple of days at the end of our first trip to Morocco, and our only regret was that we did not have at least another day or two to stay at Ryad Watier. The hotel was ideal for our family - traveling with our teenage son who delighted in having his own loft spot in the Lakhdar deluxe suite.
What an amazing oasis in the midst of Essaouira where attention to detail is a treat for all the senses. Superb finale to our visit to N Africa and a nice contrast to the Marrakech hustle. We would wholeheartedly recommend treating yourselves to Ryad Watier and to Jean Gabriel's hospitality - someone who takes this much care and interest in making guests feel well taken care of is a truly rare experience these days.

Me and my mom spent three nights in this beautiful hotel. The design of the place is very nice, it has an inner patio and a wonderful terrace with a sea view. The staff was very good. We received even more beautiful room then we booked with a small balcony with a view to the small garden. it was very nice. The location of the hotel is also very good, because it is placed in the quite part of the medina with very beautiful souks and it is very close to the sea and the ramparts.
