The guest house is well positioned and has a real restful air about it. Very easy to relax and enjoy the delights of Swakopmund. Staff and owners helpful and a good breakfast. Plenty to do in the town, but when the Bengula current comes in it's cold. We didn't think to take warm clothes! We had a standard room which was good, with a good bathroom and toiletries. All in all a good stay.

Room Tip: We had a room near the road ( it is almost on a corner, so 2 roads join) and it was noisy early morning, but not so bad to worry about

Very nice guesthouse, spacious room with a nice bathroom and shower. Nice garden with easy chairs. City centre on walking distance, 5 minutes. Free wifi, but was hardly working while we were there. Very good buffetstyle breakfast.

This is a good basic B&B in a good location. It is an easy and safe walk to beaches, restaurants and the central town area. The staff is friendly and helpful (eg. making dinner reservations which you definitely need in Swakopmund). The breakfast was ample and included anything a guest might want. As in all of Namibia, the breads were exceptionally good. The room we had (Number 5 if we remember correctly) was very basic with only one chair (another was provided when we noted this to the manager) and on a corner facing two streets and so rather noisy. Our itinerary had indicated that we had a luxury room but this was definitely only a standard. When this was pointed out to the manager, her reply was that "all the rooms are the same" and yet their website clearly indicates that they have both standard and luxury rooms. It was disappointing that they were unwilling to acknowledge the discrepancy.

Our room was in an annexe across the street. As we were shown to the room, the sea view was pointed out to us in the distance. After that the closest we got to seeing the sea was the wallpaper in the room! That being said, the room was comfortable and clean although aspects of the ensuite required some attention (the tap on the sink was loose and there was hole in the wall for an extractor fan which had never been installed). It was a little on the small side. The staff were very friendly, breakfast was nice and free wifi (although a bit temperamental) was available in the main building. Close to the town centre and some nice places to eat.
