“Beautiful Namibia”

Namib Guest House is a jewel near the desert, beautiful modern we were a family of five and nothing was too much trouble. Reservations were made for activities and for dinner, without any fuss. The ladies very friendly breakfast beautiful next time we will stay longer. This was our 3rd trip to Swakopmund and the ladies were able to give us information we did not know about. It is a must stay for everyone

Lovely, welcoming, clean, friendly, safe, guesthouse. The rooms are comfortable and beautifully decorated. The owners were friendly, knowledable and able to give great recommendations on the area. Our car was watched over at night by a guard. The breadfast was first rate. I woudln't stay anywhere else on my next visit to Swakopmund.

The ladies of the guesthouse are really helpful and friendly and eager to have you get the best out of your stay. Reservations for diner: no issue. Extra's for breakfast: brought with a smile. Advise on Swakopmund: don't even ask. Plus the fact that the guesthouse itself is modern and well-thought furbished. Big room (a bit too lage to view tv from your bed), nice bathroom with spacious shower and separate bath. Sufficient space for storing things. One minor detail: one can only use the hair dryer in front of the tv-set.
But alltogether: we love the place and the people. It is not located immediately in the centre but we ook the ten minutes walking for granted as every return was a welcoming home.

Room Tip: All are located around a nice courtyard so no worries

We have travelled extensively and we can easily say this B&B rates in our top 5 of all time B&Bs world-wide. The place is going on for 4 years old but such is the upkeep that we thought it had been decorated only last month. The bathroom is impeccably clean. Not a mark of mildew on any tile - spotless. Great comfy bed and plenty of cupboard space. Very tastefully decorated in the rooms and general area. The breakfast varied daily in terms of the huge cold buffet selection and the hot selection made to order was delicious. The breakfast beat most of the high end lodges we stayed at in Namibia. We were there for 4 nights and each day we got suggestions on where to eat and what to do and the receptionist kindly made bookings for us. Highly recommended.

Must do in Swakop- eat dinner at the Hansa Hotel - wow what great food and service. A proper old school dining experience with silver and crystal.......!! Also the drive to see the lunar landscape and welwichia plants can be done on ones own - we drove it in a VW Polo 1.4 - easy.

Amongst all the possibilities in Swakop, this is a good and practical choice. Management was very friendly, helpful, efficient, rooms are clean and nice, rates are good...and you can walk anywhere in town. Plus, a guard watches your car at night. What else do you want?

We had a very enjoyable 3 night stay here. After arriving at sunset, we had a very warm welcome, was shown to our room and even had dinner reservations made for us. The guesthouse was very modern and the rooms well appointed. We opted for a deluxe double room (room 2) and it had a very comfortable bed, tea/coffee making facilities, TV and luxury bathroom. The room was of a very high standard and had everything that we could possibly need. Breakfast was a great spread and you could also have eggs and bacon cooked to order. However what stood out for me was the excellent service we had during our stay. We were provided with info about the area and dinner reservations made for every night (this was essential as Swakopmund was very busy). The guesthouse is walking distance to the dentre of town but at night we chose to drive as it was very quiet.
