Randekhi Royal Hotel
Ranked #3 of 20 Hotels in Benin City

My experience at Randekhi was good. The atmosphere inside the hotel was very different from the surrounding area in a good way. For one thing, it is located in a very private part of central Benin which makes it more peaceful than other places in Benin. There was great security which is important! And good management...they were often cheerful and accomodating. I would have to say that the service is the greatest thing about this place. Everything is good, but the service is just wonderful! You have to experience it for yourself to see what I mean. My experience at Randekhi does put Benin City on the map of Nigeria for sure...smile. In many ways, I was pleasantly surprised by my experience at the Randekhi. Kudos!

Benin is a choked up city in the weekends. Didn't know of this till lately which was a curse and a blessing at the same time. the hotel we were supposed to check in to was fully booked and so were others that we tried. Exasperated, we heard tell of Randekhi and we decided to check it out. they had only a few rooms left which unfortunately were the most expensive. Then we met the manager and I guess he saw the tiredness in our eyes and he gave us a formidable discount. By the way, I forgot to mention that the hotel was beautiful, the reception exquisite and the friendly manner of the front desk superb. We checked in and stayed there till the following Monday. All I can really say is "GOOD TIMES". By the way, I took some pictures vowing to help this hotel spread the word.

While I wouldn't go as far as say it rivals some world class 4 star hotel, I beleive the hotel is a nice change from the surrounding areas in benin. I agree that management is quite knowledgeable about the worldwide hotel/hospitality business. The place has tremendous potential.

The Good: The service! Some front desk staff were exceptionally good...others, were, well inexperienced. Even with limited experience you can tell that they were trying really hard. This was impressive. Wi-Fi in Benin...ahhhh! The exterior and the amenities were very inviting and relaxing. This made the difference for me. The price was reasonable.

The Bad: Not much was bad except that the supplies (like towels, sheets etc...) can not be compared to worldclass 4 star hotels at all. But, it was good enough for the region.

I would recommend this anyone traveling to Benin. Just pack extra towel.

The Inauguration of my uncle into the Edo state house of assembly is what brought me back home after 6 yrs. From hear say and past experience, | basically vowed not to come back home. There was no development and what I term Bleakness overshadowed my city. On checking hotels through the internet, I stumbled upon Randekhi. Suprise, suprise. So I booked the hotel and arrived the next week. The hotel was beautiful. The reception intimidated me at first, and I had to pretend to be unaffected. then I was taken to my room where I was again intrigued. Someone knows a thing or two about hotels to have done all the work they did there. The staff was extremely helpfull and pleasant and through the ammenities, I was able to do all the work that I needed to do and relax as much as I needed. Kudos to the hotel.

It was a suprise for me to find such a great hotel in Benin. I hadn't been back in a long time. The roads and some basic things that a city should have have depreciated, but the hotel made me forget all of that. It was a great experience overall.

My cousin was getting married in Benin city and we ended up staying at this hotel. At first glance, I thought it was a decent hotel, then we came into the reception. Breathless was the only word i could use to describe what I saw. I am a world traveler and I believe I have seen class in hotels. what I saw in this hotel rivals some 4 star hotels I have seen in some places around the world. They have all the amenities that are required for a quality stay; WiFi, constant power (not something common in this part of the world,) cable and satelite television, bars serving exquisite home and international cocktails, pool and the list goes on. very pleasant experience is all I can say now. you can be rest assured, whenever I am in Benin, I will be staying there.
