I had the good fortune to be staying in Al Falaj Hotel during the Ramadan period. I was a bit worried on the Iftaar logistics & other traditions associated with this fasting period. To my surprise the Hotel had all arrangements & the staff were very friendly. There was a lavish Iftaar buffet spread every evening & it was a great dining experience. One evening I was running short of drinking water & I ordered the same from room service & paid for It. When the front desk came to know of the charges they send 2 complimentary bottles as it being the Holy month of fasting. Superb gesture!

Room Tip: Rooms available are overlooking the swimming pool & other side is atop the sports bar. It is your choice really.

the hotel is located in a nice area close to Ruwi markets and not far from the port, the hotel offers nice swimming pools and a very good choice for breakfast. The room was nice with a view to the swimming pool. Only one problem was with the leaking shower door.
