This large labyrinthine hotel has a generally worn-out feel to it. The room I occupied was vast and rather dimly lit, but it was quiet and the bed was comfortable. The dining room, which is similarly vast, provided only a mediocre breakfast. Both the girl at the reception desk and the waitress in the dining room were positively surly, but other staff members encountered in the labyrinth were friendly. At only 15 Omani rials per night b and b, it’s an acceptable place to stay for a night, but I wouldn’t choose to spend a holiday there.
