“Old school fine dining in Panama”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 June 2014

The Panamonte Inn has a lovely, quaint little dining room with seating outside on the porch/patio area as well. I am trying very hard to remember the specifics of what we ate there, but I want to call it "continental". My husband and I ate on the porch on a lovely evening with attentive staff. It's pricier than other places we ate in Panama, but we felt in the mood for a genteel little splurge.

I have been to the Panamonte on at least four different occassions and years. The restaurant is always recommended and has never disappointed.

“Have dessert first..It is the best”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 June 2014

I had dessert first, the special "lemon" pie. What a delight! I surprised the waiter when I wanted dessert first. We had wonderful food and good service. We inquired about staying in the Inn for a night, but the man (no gentleman) at the front desk was cold, rude and downright uninterested in us or our business.
I am glad that we didn't meet him first or I would have missed out on a good meal served on their front porch.

“Most overpriced restaurant in Boquete”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 June 2014

It started out great. BLT was 4.95 and almond trout was 9.99
etc.
Now the BLT is 8.00 and the almond trout is 15.00 and they raised
the prices overnight and a lot of people quit going. a well drink
is 5.00. Most locals do not go there anymore. Nice atmosphere but
San Franciso prices and Boquete is a little mountain town with
no architecture and the high prices just make it a turn off.

“Great Ambiance!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 June 2014

This is a nice restaurant whether you are having breakfast, lunch or dinner. A little on the expensive side but the food is very good and so is the service.
