Aside from making it at home - the Schnitzel was great with the browngravy mushroom sauce. It was more like a pork chop as it was thicker than schnitzel and not breaded as much. The Potatoes au gratin was also good - my companion was a little disappointed as he was looking for spatzle (german type pasta/potato concoction), but considering we were Central America I understand. Service was good but there were only 1 other table occupied when we went for lunch - dessert looked amazing.

I visited for the second time and ordered a breakfast. I ordered the eggs over easy, (presented over hard and greasy tasting. The owner/partner and I had a discussion about my onion allergy yet I still received the hash browns with onions which I had to send back. She substituted the German pancake plain with no sort of condiment. The eggs were not replaced with eggs over easy. The two sausage links were tasty.\
On an earlier visit with friends most of the items were with onions. They prepared a plate with fresh fish. It was hot and good.

Their #2 breakfast selection is always a winner, especially when it comes with a specialty coffee. But, save room for the potato pancakes, too. Neither is expensive, and both are always very good!

This place has bounced around a bit over the last couple years, but has really seemed to find a home in the San Francisco Plaza. We have had lunch there, but we go regularly for breakfast. The #2 is about as close as you can come to a perfect breakfast in Boquete. It has eggs, German hash browns, link sausage, a little salad and TaDah!! includes a latte in the price. You can spend the $4.50 price on just a latte here, or go to Zum Enslander and get an entire breakfast. Service is usually pretty good, the food is fresh, and you can get an order of freshly made potato pancakes for under $2.00. It's a nice setting, has good parking, comfortable chairs, and is an incredible value. Try the monthly brunch too.
