We stayed for 4 days at Finca Lerida on the week of July 4tt. Everything about the property is really outstanding. The room, the food, the service and the gardens. We can’t say enough about this place! On the first day, we needed to connect our computer to the internet, but since our room did not have enough signal, Doris, the manager, showed us a couple of rooms and upgraded us, to make sure we were able to do some work. We had the opportunity to see their 3 types of rooms, and all of them were updated, well appointed, and beautifully decorated. Doris is fluent in English and we were very impressed with her professionalism, and the way she ran the place. Daisy, the waitress, was really good. My husband and I, had fun seeing her getting herbs from the garden every morning to make us organic tea. We tried different things at breakfast, and everything we had was fresh and tasty. Finca Lerida is a working coffee plantation, and they offer an interesting coffee tour. Their grounds and gardens are amazing too!!

Room Tip: Suites are large and very comfortable

I have not stayed at hotel due to time constraints, but I would love to. I have been to the restaurant twice (2012 & 2013) and I will go back again, next time I am in Panama.
We have been there with the kids and they love running through the gardens up and down the hills, even to the coffee plantations and they love it.
The food at the restaurant is excellente and the service wonderful. They make us feel at home.
The prices are very reasonable, because the good is great in taste and presentation.
This time I bought some of the jellies they make on site and I regret not buying more. The pineapple with garlic and onions was my favorite for cooking and the blackberry one, delicious.
I really like the place and being able to be in contact with nature.

We were staying in a hotel in the area of Boquete, but found this place by accident when driving around in the area. Already at the security gate we were welcomed by a really nice security agent who was really friendly. The drive to the hotel is very nice as you can see the coffee plants on either side. We stopped for a coffee, which was delicious. We walked around but unfortunately had no time to take the tour around the plantation. Later at night we came back for dinner, awesome service, great food and beautiful views from the outside deck of the restaurant. Really +++ this place!

I'm sorry but this place is way hyped. Yes, the location is incredible, bordering on miraculous, exquisite, etc., etc., but c'mon it Alto Quiel / Boquete were talking about here and it's all freaking exquisitely beautiful! First: I called the hotel reservations agent and specified wanting a fireplace in my room. Let me interject that I speak fluent (Panama) Spanish. She explained that I would have to book a more expensive suite in order to have a fireplace in my room. So I did, I booked it. Simple right? No, not at Finca Lerida, I guess you have to specifically mention that you plan on USING that in room fireplace in order for the agent to clarify that it is only for looks... Yeah, that's right, looks. It was 54 F one night, muy frio for Panama and that's when I was told that "no I was not to light the in room fireplace because they backdrafted and were for looks only". Now on to the other feature I chose to upgrade for, the Jacuzzi. Well in order to fill it you need to have a big enough hot water tank, yes, our unit must have been on one of those old fashion contraptions, most of Panama uses tankless water heaters, and it was only big enough for about a third of the level of the tub in lukewarm water. Pretty weak if you ask me. So, yeah, I'm gonna bag on this place even though the food was great and service pretty good. Best coffee??? Meh, had better coffee in most other reputable coffee places in and around the area. Kotowa for one, even Ruiz's Berlina is better. I'm glad we went and hiked around. Met some really interesting peeps, but I won't be returning to this joint at these prices.

When we arrived in Boquete we had just finished driving halfway across panama in a 4x4 and staying in little rustic places. We were in need of some deluxe pampering and this place delivered the goods.

This place is absolutely fantastic, incredibly beautiful, and delicious. If you are staying in Boquete — stay here!!! The property is just way, way beautiful, there are great little hikes you can go on throughout the grounds. The hotel room itself is luxurious and super comfy, as is the hammock. There is a great little bar with a nice selection of rum, the restaurant is *incredibly* great (we ate there two nights in a row). I would absolutely stay here again.
