This is the most beautiful relaxing resort! The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. Throughout the stay you are taken on fun adventures including bird watching, hiking, canoe rides, educational trail walks. Upon returning you are always greeted with a smile, snacks and a drink. The buildings themselves are beautiful with one wall removed so the relaxing sounds of nature are always present. The staff is top notch. Very kind, helpful and knowledgeable. Willing to help in any way needed. Always excited to help us learn the local culture. Worst part about the resort is that i had to leave. Was far beyond expectations. I will definitely be back!

Room Tip: Some rooms do not have a hammock. Ask staff to put you in a room with one. :)

Would recommend this place to anyone. We had a fantastic time, our guide was excellent with probably the best excursion being the Macaws. The service was great and all round a very enjoyable experience in the jungle.

Wow, what an amazing three days we spent here. The staff are really friendly and helpful and our guide Pedro was brilliant. The wildlife is abundant around the lodge and we saw monkeys, capybara, weaver birds and caiman. Our trip to the farm which supplies all the fresh fruit and vegetables for the lodge was really interesting, and the lodge staff made some amazing meals. The trip to the Oxbow lake was the most relaxing thing I've ever done. A once in a lifetime experience not to be missed.

The location is great, the stuff is friendly and helpful and the rooms are fantastic with a jungle view. Wake up with the sound of the rainforest is so relaxing. You need a guide for everything. There is no possibility to do something by your one outside of the resort.

Refugio Amazonas was our last to stay to relax and unwind before heading back to the city. The place was so peaceful and quiet. A trip to the farm where they received their food supplies was great. We got to taste a lot of fresh fruits picked right from trees. A swim in the river was a great treat. It was so refreshing after a hot day.

This was such an amazing time in the jungle. The scenery, the services, the room.I was surprised how nice and comfortable the rooms were for being in the jungle.
We had a 3 night package and had plenty of time to relax in the hangmats between activities, even with the rain we had it was no problem.the crew at the lodge were very helpful and friendly.
WE LOVE THE PLACE!!

Room Tip: A hammock in each room would be perfect.

Love, love, love it here! We stayed as part of an intrepid tour and Iloved it, a real hilight of the trip for me. It was totally gorgeous and I love the rooms with their big open air windows and dining area. It made me feel like I could connect with nature but be totally comfortable and relaxed at the same time. If you do make it to Peru make this one of your stops!
