Is very close to everything and you do not have the need to take taxis to visit the most important places in the city. The staff. They were extremely helpful in planning our stay not only at their hotel, in booking tours, helping laundry, transfers and the most important great showers, hot water the whole day.... Clean, comfortable, near the city-center, friendly staff.

. They provided a heater when I asked for it.

This is a fantastic 3 star hotel in Puno - very close to all the action in downtown/city center.
A great place. Rooms are nice - it is a 3 star hotel and the breakfast is good and worth it

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful in spite of their limited command of English - but it was worth it

The receptionist was incredibly helpful, the room was nice and clean, the water was hot, breakfast was typical of our stay in Peru- but we were freezing throughout our stay. Our first night we all slept in our coats under all of the blankets- for me, hat, scarf, pants, socks included!

The second night we asked for a heater and the sweet receptionist delivered one, which was great and it helped a LOT, but the room still had a chill to it and I couldn't help but wonder why it wasn't offered immediately!

Aside from being cold, my only real issue was being chased out of the dining area our last day for one employee to set the tables for breakfast the next morning. He was watching tv and every now and then hopping on the computer, but for some reason we couldn't stay and work on our computers while we waited for our night bus to Cusco. The reception area was colder and it just seemed unnecessary to make us move. Boo to you, dude who watched more tv than anything else!

Room Tip: Get a lower level so you aren't out of breath walking up to your room due to the altitude! If yo...

Even though I usually stay in budget hotels such as this, I am rather demanding, asking lots of questions and making many requests. I must honestly say they did a great job keeping me happy. They never said..I'm too busy..or maybe later..or no, we can't...they helped me right away and made sure that everything was fine..and it was FINE..the room is very basic, but not noisey. The bed was OK and the bath, with HOT water, was much appreciated. He helped make reservations for the folk dance show at "Balconies" about 5 minutes away..highly recommended show..just after the Plaza. Everything was convenient..and he made sure that tours picked us up on time, always a big help! I would stay there again without reservations..I mean..without hesitation!

We were really impressed with this hotel. It was very good value for money as most of the places we stayed in South America were B&B's and this was a proper hotel. The room was clean and comfortable but take the stairs slowly as the altitude is a bit of a killer. The breakfast spread was also slightly better than we had in other places. The hotel is in a really good location for restaurants and the lake.

The manager was very prompt about sending back an email the evening we were looking for a room. We didn't book ahead of time because we weren't sure what days we would be in Puno. He even offered to pick up us when we arrived in Puno, but we took a taxi from the tourist bus we came in on. We were given a room on the first set of stairs. The best thing about the room was the HOT shower. The room itself seems a little tired and could be upgraded. The glass on the windows is not tight so it's like an open air room. But, we were given a space heater that helped take the chill off the air. The breakfast is an all you can eat Peruvian breakfast. The managers of the hotel are very nice. It's an easy walk to the Plaza de Armas from there.

We stayed here for 2 nights around a day trip to lake titicaca.

It is clean and tidy, comfortable warm beds with HOT showers - major plus.

It was cold at night as the windows are like most in South America with gaps. However once in bed its not an issue and the mornings aren't as cold. Getting a heater is extra cost.

We had a room by the street, which is noisy only til about 9pm and from 7am so again not a big issue.

Hotel is located close to the street that has most restaurants/shops etc on it so easy to eat out.

Overall, comfortable and clean, good showers and good breakfast selection. All you need for the stopover. Staff are friendly and helpful.
