“Beautiful views, good food, delicious desserts”

This place is inside the Libertador Hotel and has the best views of Lake Titicaca. Dinner was delicious - ceviche was awesome, trout and beef dishes were great, and the desserts stole the show. :-) Service was definitely slow but it was a very busy night, a few large tourist groups just arrived and the place was packed.

Breakfasts we had in the restaurant every morning were delicious as well - freshly baked breads and pastries, excellent made-to-order omelettes, fresh juices, and more. Service was much better during breakfast - we were up very early and usually the place was almost empty. :-)

We ate at this restaurant as it was the only one around the hotel. The service is very poor...I'm finished my meal and my drink hasn't come yet...I had ravioli and it was mushy and sauce was too liquidy...would've been better to have Chef Boyardee...

A messy chaos of bad service. It took over 10 minutes for anyone to come and ask us if we wanted drinks, and we had to ask three people for water. The first wine they poured had been open and clearly for a long time... The second one was ok.
The food was average, but I guess as most people who stay at the hotel eat here they really don't have to try. The bread was bordering on stale. We started with white wine and switched to red but nothing was ever cleared from the table - empty glasses remaining for the whole meal, along with the bread basket. I ordered veal ravioli and it came with a sweet tomato sauce that was exactly like Heinz tomato soup. If you stay at the hotel the dinner choices are limited, so I can only assume they don't care as they don't expect repeat customers.

Pricey but great lunch, very nice setting and amenities. The hotel grounds are top notch, the views outstanding and the WIFI the best in Peru so far! Enjoy it if you can afford it, this is truly a fabulous place to stay or visit for lunch as we did ; )
Hope this review was helpful!!!
