Stayed for four nights. Had a heater in my rom and sufficient bedding to keep warm. My room overlooked the street, so the never ending hooting of horns throughout the night was annoying, also my room did It shake a bit when, I assume, heavy vehicles drove past. My room was fine, the bed was a bit hard, but after the first night I got used to it; it had a flat screen TV and a heater. Bathroom had a good hot shower and hair dryer and thick cotton towels. There was a safe and excellent free wifi.
On the downside, water wasn't provided in my room, and no facilities to make a drink. The lobby had no specific highlights, but the staff were courteous and friendly.
Breakfast was a typical selection of drinks and scrambled eggs with bread, toast, cheese, ham cereals etc.
This hotel is absolutely fine, no frills as such, but a lot more than adequate.
It is located a couple of blocks from the main square, where the restaurants are located. All within walking distance.
Cusco has a large police presence, so it was completely safe to walk out at night.
I would recommend it for those who are of the great outdoors type, who use the hotel as somewhere to sleep. Those in 3 inch Jimmy Choo's, forget it.

We stayed 3 nights in two stays at the hotel and it was a good choice for location and value for money. Rooms are simple, spacious, good standard and warm. There is a very short walk to the main centre and the train station so no need for taxi except to the port, approx 5 minutes away. We stored our luggage and it was safely kept. There is a cashpoint in the hotel reception but in the centre there is more choice of banks. The wifi is ok but not great, especially in the rooms. The hotel is used by groups so the breakfast area can get crowded.

Stayed here 2 nights when visiting lake titicaca. Location very good. City center within walking distance. Rooms are spacious, good and clean. Bathrooms are clean and hot water.
There is a small restaurant which serves a very good breakfast and good pizzas at night.
Rooms are cold small heater does not have the capacity to heatup the rooms.

Room Tip: We stayed on the second floor and had nothing to complain.

12/07 two night stay as part of family tour of south peru. road dug up outside hotel, but this was more of an issue with the hotel trying to keep dust out rather than an issue with our stay! hotel very good, clean and rooms/bathrooms clean and well stocked with toiletries. staff polite and helpful and well dressed. buffet breakfast quite adequate with wide selection of choices to tempt your palette. could be noisy in ground floor rooms with early starters dragging bags past your door on the tiled floors, but this really is the only very minor issue on what was an enjoyable stay. well located for town and enlightening experiences. beware altitude issues - you are at 3950m here but staff are well versed in treatments!

The hotel is located in a quiet area. The rooms are large, very clean. You have Wi-Fi access in the rooms. There are also computers in the public area and they are connected to the internet. The breakfast offers a large variety of food. From the you can take a walk to the central area. The area is safe, there are a lot of shops and very good local restaurants on the way. However I wouldn't advice you to take the walk to the port, as the neighborhoods gets scary. We visited the local market and it was one of the most authentic things we did in Peru. It's amazing to see it and try to buy the local cheese and fruits.

Clean, comfortable, fairly luxurious (by Puno standards) and in a great location, close to the main street/square and train station. Relatively close to the lake Titicaca docks (Taxis are plentiful and only $1-2 USD anywhere in town anyway)

Rooms have a small space heater and lots of blankets. Can get cold at night (as with anywhere in Puno).

Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is basic.

We stayed here 2 nights and I would say that it was a wonderful experience. Everyone among the staff is very accommodating especially JESUS, the front desk person. I am sorry that I did not get his last name. You found a gem of an employee in him...
