The hotel itself is fine - it's clean, has hot showers, and does a good breakfast, but there were some drawbacks.
The rooms feel a bit lifeless - the walls are white, it just doesn't have the same atmosphere that we've experienced in other Peru hotels. The rooms were also FREEZING, and the heater we had did virtually nothing.
You also have to pay extra to have wifi in the room - it's only 15 soles for the day but it seems really unnecessary to make guests pay for it - we have not had to do that in any other hotel so not really sure why you have to pay here. It also didn't work for us the second day - we called reception multiple times and they couldn't help so it wasn't ideal.
There are also no elevators - when you are at 3800m and have two heavy suitcases and are staying on the 3rd floor, you do get a bit breathless.
Overall an average hotel that is ok as a stopover but I probably wouldn't rush back.
