“Enjoyable stay despite the bad reviews.”
Reviewed 27 June 2014

We took the risk staying here despite the reviews online. We liked this place, its peaceful enough to get a good nights sleep. Talk bout the roosters and the barking of dogs, don't put the blame to the hotel, its the neighbors. Each morning we had great simple breakfast with great cup of coffee in the gazebo. Surely this place in need of maintenance here and there but its alright with the great bargain we got to stay here. Staff were quite helpful and we did stayed here again after our trip to Sagada. A big thank you to Natasha and all the staff there. We will be back again!

Room Tip: Request a room facing the street as you could see beautiful doves every morning greeting you!

i booked this hotel through agoda and got a reasonable price. rooms are big and clean. staff is friendly and approachable. location is fine but not so close to city proper (10-15mins away) i enjoyed my stay at this hotel :) worth your money. the only problem i had is their lights are too dim and the shower is a bit hard to use.

Rooms are relatively large but quite poorly lit. Beds are uncomfortably hard with no thick blanket not to mention no heating being on top of the mountains. Windows are singly glassed and will not lock properly. Supposed to have WIFI in rooms but it does not work. Neither do the public. You can hear the cockledoodling of the roosters and dog barking nearby. Water pressure so weak perhaps they need to provide pales to accumulate water for bathing. Free breakfast is minuscule but okay. Staff were relatively attentive. I believe it is high time for a renovation!

Room Tip: None to recommend.

Pros:
1. Huge rooms
2. Clean

Cons:
1. Inconsistent hot water (this is Baguio)
2. Hanging laundry in bannisters of public areas (shirts of staff, bedsheets, etc)
3. Breakfast was so-so
4. Not centrally located

Decided to celebrate our wedding anniversary in Baguio. The lobby at first looked impressive till you looked around and saw the hanging laundry. Good thing we only stayed to sleep, we just decided to have a blast anyway.

Baguio was great, but stay somewhere else :)

The hotel looks well-maintained and the room (Standard Room) has generous size. It is located around 15 minutes away from Session Road, making it quite far. The bathroom is quite small and it takes quite a while before the water heats up. Once it is heated, it becomes scorching hot.

I regularly travel to Baguio on business but this time, my best friend came along and decided to make an adventure out of it. I found High Point in TripAdvisor and Agoda and decided to book us a room there instead of one near the town center. From booking to checkout the staff had been very courteous and helpful. Check-in and check-out was a breeze, despite our late arrival.

The room was surprisingly well-appointed for their rates and very clean as well (We booked a standard room). The free breakfast was okay though I wish they had a few more selections in their menu. I've read common complaints about hot showers and while it took some time for the hot water to reach our bathroom, it had not been a problem.

The staff was very responsive to our needs and smiling all the time. I will definitely go back here again.

Room Tip: Call in advance for reservation or book ahead at Agoda.com
