We stayed at the PhP1,000/night Gladiola Unit for five nights. The owner required 50% down payment (via bank deposit) for the reservation and provided clear directions on how to reach the place.
The one-bedroom unit included its own bathroom, a small sala that is composed of some worn-out couches and a TV set with pretty bad signal despite the cable, a dining set, and a kitchen that included a few plates and utensils, a refrigerator and a double-burner gas stove. However, it cost an extra PhP300 to be able to use the gas stove so we weren’t be able to cook our meals or even heat up some water for coffee, as we planned. Despite its signs of age, the unit was comfortable.
Mileshome is very accessible for it is next to a jeepney stand and within walking distance to tourist attractions as Good Shepherd Convent and Mines View Park. There is also a small grocery story beside it where we purchased our supplies.
