We just had our Company’s Annual Planning Session two weeks ago. And I can say that this hotel never fails to satisfy our needs (and wants).

We’ve been their loyal customer since we first experienced their on-hand approach in taking care of their guests. Before going there, we will first coordinate with their Manager, Ms. Rita Kalalang for the availability of the rooms and function hall/s. She answers our inquiries nicely and clearly. She always see to it that before we go there in Baguio, everything is already settled – food, rooms, function halls, staff, etc.

Their location is near The Mansion House. It was quite a good location because you can expect a peaceful ambiance. The hotel consists of 6 floors. Their rooms range from Standard, De Luxe, and Junior Suites. You may ask the difference between the Standard and De Luxe. Well, the only difference is that the De Luxe has a veranda while the Standard has a window. Not bad, right? For smokers, may I suggest that you opt to get a De Luxe room.

They clean the room every day. You can also ask them to change the bed sheets and pillow covers.

Staff here are very accommodating and cheerful. They will greet you anytime of the day and will help you in any way they can.

You can also ask them to set-up a projector and magic sing. How many hotels in Baguio offer these? Lol. You can also request for a sound technician, who will not leave until your event is finished.

I highly recommend this hotel! If you just want to relax and unwind, or if you have a business planning/meeting, go here and experience the best accommodation ever!

Room Tip: choose the de luxe room if you are a smoker. :)

99% of Baguio hotels were already booked at this time of the year, and we were lucky to get the last 2 rooms of Ridgewood Residence and we are satisfied with our first time-stay here.

LOCATION: So near The Mansion (the official summer residence of the President of the Philippines), Wright Park (where you can go horseback riding) and a minute drive to Mines View. Its away from the busy part of the city and the surroundings are mixed residential and parks too. Tucked in the inner portion of a street so the noise from the main road and passing vehicles will not bother you at all. You can also go jogging in the vicinity/neighborhood and enjoy the breeze.

ROOMS: We got 2 De Luxe rooms with veranda on the 5th floor (don’t worry they have an elevator) at P3200 per room per night, plus an extra bed at P750.00 per night all with free buffet breakfast. Our room has 2 single beds with TV (not flat). No aircon (no need its 15 degrees cel.!!) The 1st room has a view facing the portion of The Mansion and hway and the other room is facing the residential areas and pine trees. The rooms are clean. Bedsheets are clean. Toilets are clean with complete toiletries and towels. Cleanliness checked!

FOOD: Breakfast Buffet is okay. Its limited but I enjoyed it. They have coffee, tea, fruits, juice , toasted bread, cereals ( nuts , milk and raisins are available ), egg, fried rice and 1 main dish for the day. If you don’t like the dish for the day, you can always order from the menu which is a bit pricey.

SERVICE: Great staff. All staff are commendable for good service , politeness, friendliness. During breakfast (peak season) they should add more waiters since the hotel has so many guests for faster service.

Overall this is a nice , clean hotel in a quiet location with real Baguio ambiance. The hotel lobby and dining area have woodlike interior with a fireplace. Cozy. I will surely go back or recommend this place to a friend.

Room Tip: If you booked a room with veranda/balcony request the one with a view of the Mansion.

This is our 4th time already at Ridgewood which shows how much we have come to depend on this hotel everytime we go up to Baguio.

The location, which is a few blocks away from Wright Park and the Mansion, is perfect if you are like us who prefer the quiet and cozy side of Baguio versus the traffic and bustle of the city proper.

We always prefer rooms of the 300 series for its proximity to the dining area and you don't have to go up the stairs and the elevator.

The breakfast spread is a little bit limited with only one meat dish, one egg dish and a vege dish. But I really love their coffee. And I would recommend that you choose the dining options outside the hotel since their buffet is a little bit limited and the price is a little bit steep for its selection.

But the room decor, cozy and homey design as well as the warm and personalized service of its staff would always make us come back to this corner of Baguio.

My family just came back from Baguio and we stayed in Ridgewood for 4 nights. Accommodation and food are very good. Location is convenient to all major attractions: Mansion, Wright Park, Mines View, Camp John Hay, Botanical. Got a good rest and sleep since it is a little bit away from the highway. We will definitely come back to Ridgewood.

I stayed here for a business dinner at Forrest House. It was easy to book and resreve.

The rooms were too small though. There's a discrepancy with their idea of a 'queen sized' bed and a 'single bed' (for some reason they think that they're the same). For the price that you paid, you can at least expect to have the usual sized rooms. The small servings of the plated breakfast also disappointed me after paying P3850 for a night.

One good point is that the location is good. It was in an area full of pine trees. The lobby decors are also worth mentioning. The wood designs are great. They just need to improve on their rooms.
