“Good deal right in Baguio´s center”
Reviewed 13 June 2012

We stayed now several times in this hotel and we found always friendly and welcoming staff. The rooms are basic and clean. Comparing to the low price you pay there its a good deal right in the heart of Baguio. Everything is easy to reach out this door step.
Some bathrooms seem to have a difficulty with hot water supply. A parking spot is included in the price as well as a breakfast. You can drink as much coffee as you like- nice.

Room Tip: upper floors got a better view

Location is fantastic - right in the heart of Baguio's Session Road which is why we booked this hotel. From outside and from the pictures, the building looks ok but we were deceived! We paid around $56 per night non refundable and once in the room, I was utterly disappointed and would have gone straight away to another hotel if there were other hotels available at that time.

Room is so shabby like a 100 years old, bed is hard, the toilet is so rundown that tiles are cracked with visible moulds around the area. Water pressure of the shower are just "trickles". We asked to be moved to another room and was in the same shabby condition. The breakfast is a filipino dish which is The hotel needs to be built again from scratch. Normally, you expect hotels in a central location to be generally good, this building wouldn't even pass a building inspectors' scrutiny! Not safe for travellers..

Its not called the Prime Hotel for nothing, situted at the junction of Calderon st and Session Road right in the middle of town.We were there twice the second time for the flower festival .
The rooms come with breakfast, and the rooms have electric hot water. The beds are large and the rooms clean. We had some laundry done and they really stuffed it up,but on complaining all was fixed to a satisfactory level. The staff were very attentive

Room Tip: Get a front room and if going to the flower festival book in October

Our room was awful. It smelled like moth balls to the point that we were forced to buy our own air freshener. Our window view was the hallway.
The washroom was filled with molds

And did I mention that the room was stinky?

ALTHOUGH to be honest, my friends' room, they had 2 beds, was absolutely cool.
They had session road as their view, so they can see all the happenings on the road.
Their washroom was clean
And their room smelled OK.

Best deal here was the location. It is so near everything!

Room Tip: Get a room on the top floors and get the ones that have session road as your view.

last jan 5, 6 and 7 my wife and i stayed at this hotel. we had a very nice, convenient and comfortable stay. first, the hotel was like in the center of session road, second we didnt have a hard time because they had parking space available for guests since we brougt our own car. third, the service, staff, facilities, room and stuff were all great... didnt encounter any problem at all. they also have wifi in the hotel room and thats why i was able to post pictures immediately to my fb account before retiring to sleep. we actually had a good nights sleep. both of us also liked the free breakfast the next day. i ordered longanisa while she ordered bangus. we were both satisfied and even ordered another cup of coffee. (seriously where do you buy your coffee?) the next night we decided to enjoy the night life in the city of pines, it was very convenient for us because as soon as you step out of the hotel... you can easily walk and choose from the variety of restaurants and bars available (and a lot are open 24hrs).... you dont really have to go far. in the morning, we just walked going to the cathedral and enjoyed the cool air of baguio brushing through our faces. (cause we heard it was hard to look for a parking space there) my sister also called to take home this pizza from one of the local pizza restaurants in baguio before going home to manila.. the good thing is one of the branches was just beside the hotel and we didnt have to go to SM to buy it. in short, we really enjoyed our stay in baguio because we were able to find the perfect place to stay in... we were able to go around a lot and not waste so much time travelling.

The Hotel has a good location, right in the center. Price is way to high 2500 php for 3 adults + 1 kid , 1000 Php Would have been more fair.
We tried to pay with Credit Card, but like the other hotels in Baguio the machines are old and do not work, so be prepaed to pay with cash.
I think the room was resonable clean, but hard to clean a run down place/room.
The Wireless internet worked ok, at 5 floor, in the evening, didnt work next day.
To my surprise there where a lot of hot water, but very hard to find a temperature that would not scool you. The beds where quite small (2 singel bed) but to my surprise i had a resonable good sleep (must have been very tired lol)
We stayed just 1 night, and checked out asap we could.
We cant recoment it, and we would not return Ever

Room Tip: Take another hotel

Old hotel and needs to be upgraded and maintained. My family stayed in 3 rooms. All bathrooms did not have strong water flow, and drains were clogged and took them forever to give toiletries. Beds are really tiny and blankets smell. The good thing about this hotel are location (located in the middle of Session Rd) and staff were friendly. I informed the front desk of these issues and said they'd refer it to management. But if ever i return again, I wont stay in this hotel.
