“Quite a good boutique hotel let down by the restaurant.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 May 2014

This hotel has a lot going for it, but a few things let it down.

The rooms are excellent, with modern, art-themed décor and priced so you can book a suite here for the price of a standard room in one of the large international hotels (which is what I did).

The other big plus is the location. It is right in the middle of Makati, within walking distance of offices and there are a few nice restaurants nearby. Greenbelt is a bit far to walk (20 minutes - and at this time of year it is HOT).

The main thing that steals the extra point away is the restaurant downstairs. The breakfast is one of the worst I have had in years. Cooked to order eggs were barely edible and there were no bits to go with them. Bacon appeared one morning, but had been left to stand in something sweet and was quite revolting. Kitchen made up for the lack of cooked items by bringing out more cut fruit, which I suppose was at least healthier.

Room Tip: The bigger the better.

We stayed here for our wedding preparations and the night after last May 3-5, 2013. Their rooms are very clean and spacious, designs are modern and artsy. The staff are very courteous and accommodating. The wifi is good also. Our overall stay was amazing! Very affordable for such big and beautiful rooms. They even gave us a bottle of wine upon check-out! =)

I stayed one night there, between two flights. The hotel is very nice, modern, offers good facilities. The rooms are big and clean.
The personnel is very attentive and professional.
Breakfast is not very diversified, but the food is tasty.
The location makes this hotel excellent for business trips or airport transfer. The hotel's transfer to/from the airport is more expensive than regular taxi. I advise to use the regular taxis, who are many and fair.

Room Tip: rooms are pretty much the same, the hotel is surrounded by buildings, so no special views around.

This place for sure lived up to the raving reviews.

Excellent value for money.
Shows 3.5 stars but felt as good as most 4+ places I have stayed at.

GREAT friendly staff, always smiling and trying to help you whatever your concern may be!
This is a big deal in my book.

Good food, competitively priced. We ate most of our meals there.
Clean, nice and HUGE rooms if you get a suite (not that expensive).

Close to greenbelt. Totally acceptable gym for being a hotel.

The breakfast experience was excellent. The complaints I see about few options was not a problem for us. Just ask them to make something for you, and they will. It is included in the price.

My only concern was poor/terrible WIFI coverage in our room. Speed was good, but I literally had to sit on the floor next to the front door to get a decent signal. Tried with two computers and one tablet. same problem for all. I reported this and somebody came to fix it. Still nothing improved, and no follow-up was provided.

Still, great place,highly recommend.
Will come back

Room Tip: Get a room that does not face the street
