“Great stay”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 April 2014

Used their transfer service to/from airport, it went smoothly. Check in was a breeze. We stayed in a two bedroom suite. The rooms were large and had separate bathrooms. The suite had all the necessary appliances and equipment needed for a long term stay. It had a washer/dryer, hairdryer, ironing board/iron, oven, stovetop, microwave, plates, etc. Beds and pillows were super comfortable. The hotel offered a free shuttle service to main commercial sites, such as the mall, which was extremely helpful. The only thing was that the Wifi was subpar. Overall, had a wonderful stay at Fraser Place and would stay here again and recommend it.

Nice large, very, very, clean apartment with a huge laundry room. The staff are very courteous. I enjoyed the pool. Breakfast is OK with good variety. Internet is slow. I went for business nearby on the Citibank Tower. You have plenty of inexpensive restaurants everywhere, my favorite is the Japanese food one at the corner on your left as you walk out, next to the nice hair saloon. The staff will get you a taxi to the nearby Greenbelt mall with lots of restaurants along its inside garden or you can take the shuttle. Hotel-airport transfers were handled well. The A/C in my room was aging and was a little noisy. I was very satisfied with the great value

Room Tip: I had a street apartment and it was quiet.

From the time of check in, we had some concerns. The lobby had a funny smell about it and we found the actual room to be very old and run down. Although this was not too much of a concern, the fact that the room seemed quite grotty and dirty was. To add to matters, the fixtures of the room were also of low quality as my wife had the door handle break off on her while she was in the bathroom - lucky we were around to alert staff of the problem!

We had to constantly leave specific detailed instructions to staff as to how we needed the room to be cleaned and serviced. They weren't overly demanding, they were basic (such as please wipe the table).

The breakfast buffet was poor and when my father requested some tomato sauce, he was only given enough to cover his fingertip!

It was definitely not what we expected for the price we paid. If we had paid a budget rate, then we could accepted all of this. We have paid similar prices for serviced apartments elsewhere, located closer to the major malls in Makati City and have had an experience much much greater than this one.

Dear Jorbita,

Thank you very much for your feedback. While we strive to deliver a delightful stay experience for all our residents, I regret that we failed to do so and I apologize. Rest assured that these are definitely not our standard and remedial measures are being taken. We are also actively working on refurbishing our apartments.

Should you consider giving us the opportunity to host your visit again, please do let me know so I can personally make the proper arrangements.

Yours sincerely,

At the time of check-in, we got an upgrade from a 3-bedroom executive to a 3-bedroom penthouse for the same price. And wow it was a big loft complete with excellent amenities and a wonderful view of the city!

Room Tip: Penthouse for the win!

Spent christmas with my family in a nice and spacious 2-bedroom apartment. The only thing is that you can see the outdated room facilities and amenities. The tiles are not as cleaned as it should be. However, we do not really care much. We think that the size of the room is good for us. The only thing that bothered me is the front office service that seems to be non existent. I have left a request from the lady who assisted us on check-in. When I followed up on my request at about 6 pm the gentleman who answered the phone told me that such request was not endorsed to him. Hmmm… I thought they have a communication book or something. Another let down is the breakfast. It was not as I expected, the food is not that spectacular and we need to pay extra P500++ for additional breakfast. I really do not mind paying if they are serving really decent food. Other than that it would've been nice. They just have to beef up their service so that guest like me will close one eye on the aging beauty of this place.

Room Tip: Get a 2-bedroom unit it comes with a washing machine and dryer. Perfect for family.

Thank you very much for your patronage and candid feedback which we find most helpful. We are pleased that you enjoyed the size of the apartment. We shall certainly look into making improvements to the furnishings as well as the overall appearance of the same. We apologize for the lapse in service and your dissatisfaction with breakfast. Rest assured these are being addressed as well.

Please feel free to contact us directly next time.

Our family makes it a point to spend New Years Eve in a hotel together to watch the fireworks and celebrate with a feast. With two little ones, it's even better that we have a great view but are far away from the firework smoke. Staying in Fraser was an amazing experience, as the serviced apartment had a big living area and with multiple rooms that we could use without going in and out of the actual booked room. There was a huge glass window from ceiling to floor where we could watch the fireworks of makati end to end but without feeling the smoke. The amenities included a huge fridge, a stove, sink with washing detergent, and complete plates and utensils. Unfortunately internet only covers LAN and our shower head (while strong and hot) leaked a lot getting the bathroom wet. The breakfast was so-so, but the staff was always very accommodating. We'll never go back to hotels after that great experience with a serviced apartment.

We stayed for 2 nights and they gave us an upgrade on a 2-bedroom executive suite. The unit has a separate living room with TV and sound system , kitchen with all the basic amenities, washer and dryer and a guest bathroom. The master bedroom had a huge walk in closet and master bath. The hotel also provides parking if needed with a direct access to the rooms. Elevators are operated with a card key for security purposes. When we checked in we told the front desk that we will have some guests over and they escorted them up to the unit without bothering is to come down and get them ourselves. They also provided a router for wifi access and replaced a light fixture that wasn't working properly. Breakfast is complementary and they also have shuttle buses going to the different malls in Makati.
