“Hotel with basic needs”
Reviewed 19 March 2014

Overall average hotel with basic need. Stayed in this hotel from 5 Aug to 12 Aug 2013 for business. Only went back to sleep in the hotel. Room is kinda old. Shower is not warm enough during morning. Breakfast was ok, not buffet type, different dishes available where you can choose two dish + white rice. Security of hotel is good. Supermarket nearby hotel. Hotel location near Rail Station.Going back to hotel at night may caught up in a jam as hotel is located along a very busy main street.

ever wonder why I keep on coming back to this hotel? My honest answer, its the location, services, amenities and security. Strategically located . Just a stone thro away with MRT and LRT and the nearby Metropoint mall and the ever famous SM Mall of Asia.

7am, I arrived in the hotel. since I feel at home, I have to freshen up first, use the restroom before my reservation is made. Though by that time, I know that there's no available room for me yet although personally and as I have made my research and interviews with other hotel guests, the hotel info clerks/receptionists do not always reveal the truth wheher there is already vacant room even in fact, there is vacant. I can conclude that because the check-IN time stars at 12NN, they won't offer vacant rooms yet . By 11am, I will be back to the hotel for my room reservation.

But what I love most though I don't have my room yet, Im free to check-In my luggage free of charge at the baggage counter. Try this, its reliable and you things are safe. For your valuables, a safety deposit box is available for free. Just inform the info clerks and by filling up an identity/description card, als, in 5 minutes your valuables will be okay.

Dormitory type room. This is my favorite room for a tight and practical budget. You won't be bored because there will be 6 of you in a male drom type room. TV set is no longer available inside the room . I approve of the idea because there are some guests who watch tv even during wee hours of the morning or even during sleeping time. the only problem with our room is the absence of individual outlets for our gadgets. anyway, there are 2 outlets provided for charging personal gadgets plus the former outlet intended for the tv set.

The location of this room is very quiet and conducive for sleeping.

want to be updated with the news even without tv? Just wake up early. Breakfast starts 4am and grab a free copy of the Phil Star. If you are not yet in the mood for breakfast, sip a hot brewed coffee or thirst-quencher orange or mango juice.

Set meal for lunch or dinner costs P125 for 1-dish meal and P200 for 2-dish meal. inclusive of free orange juice or ice tea. One can choose to drink coffee but you will be charged P35.00 To the kitchen staff, I observed that there are times that the brewed coffee tastes bland. walang tapang. parang second brew lang. Im a brewed coffee drinker so I know how to spot a fresh brewed coffee

Room Tip: for dorm type room guests, the rooms at the 2nd floor south side are quieter.

My major complaint was that the hot water was nearly nonexistent. This is quite common in the Philippines, but made the additional expense for a room with a bathtub a waste. Mini fridge was
available but microwaves were not. There was an actual large bed for 2 adults, which was not the case in most other bargain hotels where I have stayed in past visits to the Philippines.

Lobby is borderline luxurious, Staff very courteous, but the default will be to crank the AC up too maximum as soon as you arrive. The complimentary breakfast was an actual sit down meal with several options available and unlimited free brewed coffee. but like everywhere in the Philippines, you will need to bring your own artificial sweetener if that is your preference.

The hotel transportation costs a bit more than what you can arrange on your own for a taxi from the hotel, but way less than what they will try to charge at the airport. Be sure to reserve your ride ahead of time or you could be stuck. The Hotel van met me at the airport even though my flight was delayed.

Places like Expedia and Orbits will never find a budget place like this, They will send you to "star" rated hotels at Las Vegas Prices. but you can find this place online. Rooms could be reserved with a deposit online, but had to be paid for at check-in. Check in could be slow. Prices for comparable rooms are less in Cebu, but still this is cheap by US standards.

I was put off a bit by the plaques with religious messages, but that is commonplace in the Philippines.

Room Tip: Don't bother getting a room with a bathtub unless you think a soak and bubble bath in lukewarm w...

We had an over night stop over in Room No: 503 on the 23rd February 2014. Airport pick /drop off and the check in was very smooth. Room was large enough for 3 guests with good storage space, Well cleaned room with perfect linen and bright lights. Some of the plus points are mini fridge ,tooth brush, bathroom slippers ,flat screen TV ,toilet commode fitted with bottom cleansing horse, reasonably priced restaurant and room service. Located near the Rail Station and along the busy main street. A mini shopping mall under the Rail Station with a popular super market. For a Foreigner intend to do a small Manila shopping before flying back home does not need to go to a big shopping mall like famous Asia Mall as you find everything in the adjoining small mall. Many fast food restaurant in the vicinity. Very busy streets with poor lighting and not advisable for Foreigners to wonder around outside hotel after dark. Limited breakfast in local style is enough and filling. Reception is always busy and you have to wait for your turn and it is better to deal every thing in one go. They will charge you 330 pesos for airport shuttle one way and it is worth than get in to an unknown taxi who might rip you off. Once again it is a value for money over night stop over and we will do it again

Best thing about this hotel is that the proximity to the international and domestic airports. I believe this the the most decent place to stay. Equipped with free WIFI, which password you need to ask from the reception. There are rooms that are facing the market side and if you need to get a good night sleep, ask for a room move before it's too late.

Room Tip: Room NOT Facing the market it better

Good service, worth the price but Im just a bit annoyed whenever I go out, its crowdy outside.infront of the hotel. Couldn't even find a nice view. Though the location is good, its near the airport. So if u have flight schedule ahead, and on a budget, but looking for a nice place to stay, then this one fits you.. and oh not to mention the chairs at the restaurant, I'm not sure if they had it replaced but some of their chairs were a bit lower than the right level it should be... try it yourself to know what I'm talking about. I'm a tall woman but I felt like I was a kid in a big table
