We enjoyed the food here and really liked the Crispy pata that was recommended. Also the beer was nice to go along with everything and the people were also fun to talk with. They stay open late which was good since we ate after we went out to a few bars.

love their crispy pata plus they serve beer to go along with it. a little pricey but worth it since they're one of the few establishments in ortigas that serves beer 24/7. crablets is also a must try.

We came to the Jay-J's Inasal @ Metrowalk late one night to relax & have some beers.
There was a live band playing & we sat on one of the outside tables. The weather was fine & the music was great.
We had Pork Sisig, Chicken Bacolod & a tub of San Miguel Lights. It was all good. I can't remember the exact price but the food was very cheap so was the beer!

Jay-J’s is another (more recent) chain offering the typical Filipino fare starting with the Inasal or barbequed (usually) chicken, and there are already a number of branches in M. Manila and a couple outside. This review is based on the branch at Metrowalk on Meralco Avenue (opposite Union Bank), not far from the Ortigas Home Depot. Although carrying the name Inasal, the menu does offer the whole gamut of local cuisine (starting with the ubiquitous lechon and boneless bangus), including sisig and kare kare in seafood, chicken or pork. Apparently, two of their best selling items are the beef bulalo and kare kare. In fact, the menu is quite comprehensive and should cater for all tastes, including vegetarians, and the pricing is quite reasonable for the food offered and service rendered.

The venue itself is pleasant, with reasonable decor, in a quite corner of Metrowalk (ground floor) and the service is more than adequate.
