First of all, it's a beautiful spot, especially the photo you see of the pier. But stepping outside of the photo, there's really not much there. I'm glad I have the photo but I would never consider staying here again or recommending it. The road going there is long and bumpy, and the place is pretty run down and has an abandoned feeling to it. I'm sure it could be fine if you're a local, but from a foreign tourist perspective we wouldn't have stayed here after seeing it, only because it was getting dark out and late.. we thought this was the thing to see in Mati or Dahican, but I would go somewhere else. First of all, you can stay on those little houses on the pier and it's pretty cheap. But they are made of grass and had no facilities, and there was some of the loudest karaoke I ever heard happening all night until noon the next day at the end of the pier. At the end of the pier there's what used to be a beautiful function room with rooms to stay above, but now it's all broken down and seedy. There were private aircon rooms with tv in the land portion of the resort, but they were oddly laid out and too expensive for what they were. There was another block of tiny rooms right before the pier. The restaurant was also odd, not having many items or even breakfast items. The whole place was just odd with a seedy feeling to it, I would stay away from overnighting there and just go there to get some photos.
