David’s for me serves one of the best steaks here in Cebu so it is hard to pass up something as epic of a promo where you can have all the steaks you can have in one night. Our dinner started out with a chorizo hot plate appetizer, which is very good with bread. I just wish the serving was bigger for the amount we paid.
After the appetizer came one of the largest cuts of steak I have ever seen in my life! Around 2-3′, inches in thickness, medium-well, perfectly sealed in juiciness and just melts in your mouth. As big as it was, we finished the whole thing in minutes. A side dish of rice and mashed potato was a good backup to support the taste and size of the steak. We mixed some of the sauce (oil) of the chorizo to our rice to add a kick of flavor to it. Sadly, the second and third round did not come out as big as the first one but the meat was still cooked to perfection. One of Cebu’s best-kept secrets, this steak adventure was one for the record books. The dizziness and high-blood that came after was well worth it.
