Good but small hotel near Ayala

Surprisingly good hotel inside, despite the slightly mangy looks outside lol.
Good location of cos. Very friendly and efficient front desk staff and security guards downstairs. Shower is the strongest and hottest I have ever experienced in the Philippines.
Room is quite small, but completely functional, but the aircon is quite noisy unfortunately.
Great place to stay if you really need to save money, but for 20 dollars or so more, I would say Quest Cebu just next door is the better stay ;P

My experience

I totally satisfied with my stay at red planet during my business trip in cebu city. Staff are really great, their room is 👌. Only thing i have concern with is they dont serve food, internet is slow and no hotel room telephone.

Thank you for your feedback and for letting us know of your experience. It is through feedback like this that we will be able to continually improve in giving the best service to our guests. Please accept our apologies if physically we cannot anymore undo the hotel and room design to include a restaurant and a room telephone. However, the new technology provides our guests with another way to communicate with us. Aside from the telephone available at every elevator landing, downloading our APP allows one to also communicate with the front desk anytime either through messaging or voice call by just connecting to the hotel wifi.

We would like to assure you that we will continually take action to ensure that our guests experience will always be that of a comfortable stay.

Value for money!

Great staff. Check in and out were fast. Staffs are very polite and helpful. From the security guard to lobby staff.
Great location. Just a walking distance to Ayala Mall and other restaurants like House of Lechon. Beside the hotel is also 7/11, few walks and there is a laundry shop and massage salon.

Had high expectations

I had high expectations because of the reviews saying it was clean. I know it's a basic hotel and that's all I needed - just wanted a place to stay overnight and shower. But the bedsheets had stains and when I entered the bathroom there were bugs in the sink and in the shower stall which turned me off so I didn't get to shower. Location was good - 711 right beside it and Ayala mall is like a 5 min walk.

Knowing about failing your high expectation caused us deep concern. We take pride in making our guest’s stay comfortable through a well maintained facilities and quality customer service, hence, the many good reviews especially in the area of cleanliness. It was not mentioned if these concerns were raised with us so as not to end up not taking that shower and for our team to have the opportunity to address the need as immediately as possible to your satisfaction.

We value our reputation on cleanliness and is serious in implementing measures to keep it that way through our regular pest control program and strict quality control on linens to be set up.

We hope that you will consider giving us another chance to prove that this is not the standard experience our guests get when they leave.

Recommended

This hotel is very worth the money. It’s clean with comfy beds and hot shower. Staff is very friendly! The check in is a little bit slow and the WiFi is a bit slow at times, but for the price is great. Me and my boyfriend have stayed in the hotel
Both in Cebu and Manila and I would recomend it at any time.
