Owner description: This famous church dates back to the early Spanish colonial era.

In just one morning you can cover this very important church, the Magellan's Cross next to it
and then walk to the Independence Plaza (park) and have a look at Fort San Pedro.
A small entrance fee at the fort. Well worth it.
Ask a taxi to take you to the church. Usually taxis are waiting outside Fort San Pedro.
Fast food outlets near the Magellan's cross. No food places around the fort.

This is one of the sights that you wouldn't miss if you're travelling to Cebu since the Basilica symbolizes the history of Cebu.

The picture, associated with the Santo Nino Basilica is one of the Magellan's Cross in Cebu. Of course, these monuments are related, but a bit more accuratesse should be nice.

There's nothing much to see since a big part of the church is under renovation and closed to the public.

I am a very devout Catholic, so this place is something that I value very much and being in Cebu City, we as a family must visit this holy place. Of course the Basilica as well as the Magellan's cross and the park.
