The staff was super friendly, the place was very cozy and nice almost perfect. What I love most is the food. Everything was just PERFECT! We had the most memorable and fun Sinulog 2014 ever! I can say it's a perfect place for all occassions! I LOVE IT HERE! I am so proud of you Ms Ross Maglasang! Keep up the good job! As always!

Paid 13.000php for bad service for 2nights Sinulog weekend! We were awaken at 12am to check if there are only 2 people in the room. Coffee and creamer is not free.. It is overpriced for the festival...

Room Tip: Please don't be deceived.

Hi! John B. I am glad to know that you were able to get the discounted rate of Php 6,300 per night (double occupancy) as compared to other guests who paid for Php 11,400.00 per night for 3 nights (double occupancy) and were very happy. As it is Sinulog, we have prepared special procedures for various reasons and on top is to ensure that controls are in place and guarantee smooth operations, sound sleep and security while other guests are enjoying the event. As part of check - in porcedure, set of guidelines were presented while staying at the hotel. Per the records in the security camera you had multiple guests inside the room past visiting hours which is 12am. I trust you understand that we have other guests too. The property being a boutique hotel caters to various top markets thus we provide complete complimentary amenities inside the room which includes the coffee and creamer. Charges only apply for requests of more than what is provided on a daily basis.

Thank you for taking time to write this review about St. Mark Hotel.

We stayed for 3 nights and had 2 rooms. The Front Desk and security staff were very welcoming. The rooms are great. They were very comparable to any good 3 star properties in the U.S. The bathrooms are clean and the amenities are good. I love the breakfast! F&B staff were very attentive. The Housekeeping staff were detail oriented. The entire staff are so friendly, professional and very helpful.

Great location too! I would stay there again anytime.

If you're after a good night's rest and a jump start to your morning, look no further than St. Mark hotel. With it's European boutique room and bath appointments, which I consider a novelty, you will feel like you are in Venice, of course without the canals. I particularly loved the firm bed and euro style designed bathroom and shower. The tiles, patterns, and fixtures are a giveaway. If you're used to a "bidet, you got it. I especialy like the idea of a free breakfast buffet---Brrrp---to get me going. Talk about "feasting". Oh, you also have a small outside terrace to lounge about, like Juliet had in Verona. Bravo, for bringing a little Europe to Cebu.

Room Tip: Rooms facing Queens Road gives you the view of the Iconic Redemptorist Church.

We booked two rooms for one night whilst stopping over in Cebu and we found the staff so considerate - upon arrival they assisted us with transferring to two twin bed rooms as we originally had two double beds. They helped us find details for ferry times to Bohol and politely answered all queries. The rooms were amazing and clean, breakfast was varied and the quality was high. Well worth going!

Room Tip: We had a room on the fifth floor - the individual room balconies had a view of the back of the hotel...

We only arrived late in the evening and started for one night while in transit, so we didn't have long in the hotel, but we're very happy with our stay.

To start with the negatives: As mentioned in another review the room was a bit stuffy, they should air it out a bit more. The bathroom was a bit cramped and had low water pressure to the shower. They are only minor things though. There was also a lot of cracks around the hotel from the earthquake 3 months ago, but nothing too concerning. The free wifi worked but the login didn't give a confirmation which caused us some confusion at first.

On the plus side, the bed was very comfortable. the view we had on level 6 was pleasant, green trees, high rises and mountains rather than dirty backyards you often get in this part of town. The furniture and decor was the most modern we have experienced in the Philippines, it even had an iphone dock on the radio. The staff were always friendly, courteous and full of smiles. The breakfast was very good, and we got a very good rate compared to similar hotels. At full price I would rate this hotel very good, at the low rate it is outstanding value, either way we will be staying here again.

I was very surprised in a great way by the quality of St Mark's in Cebu, not only was it a quality establishment, this was greatly supported by the very helpful staff. The rooms were of a great quality, I could not wish for better.

Room Tip: Book ahead, they will make all attempts for an early check in if possible, which they did for me.
