This was a lovely hotel about 30 minutes from Cebu Airport. Unfortunately the ride from the airport was a real eyeopener. The area was extremely poor looking with goats, chickens and dogs roaming around freely and people living in what looked like tin shacks. Then you turn into the driveway to the hotel and it's a different world. Pure luxury with excellent service.
Our suite was on the 9th floor and consisted of a lounge area with bar, fridge and microwave; LCD tv and balcony. Huge bedroom with another LCD tv and en suite bathroom. There was a separate toilet and a second toilet off the lounge area.
The hotel was very well cared for, very clean and tidy and the service excellent. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

The hotel is good only with kids as this have water park inside. However, location is far from city & don't have nearby restaurant to eat. The hotel's buffet is rather on the expensive side.
We paid P8000 per night, a price that is far higher than Shangrila. Hotel interior, facade, design, and even in-room amenities are of low quality. They boast to have iPod dock, however it is of low quality. Upon docking, the chip board fall-off. Room service is the worst, I have requested for the sky cable remote, and it took them 3 hours to bring it up with almost 5 ff ups. This was brought to the attention of the manager, and the manager offered a free buffet breakfast for one person.
Internet connection is not working, I did not bother to complain as their service is not prompt.
98% of their guests are Koreans, very few westerners, not to mention locals. For those who are interested to visit the place, I suggest book at Shangrila Cebu, then take a cab to Imperial. It's very near, entrance per person for the water park is P1200 & I think it comes with food pass. Check it out before booking.
From Airport to Hotel taxi cost is around P170, actually we noticed the taxi take a longer route in order to charge tourist higher rate.

Stayed overnight after coming from Plantation Bay with a 10 and 11 yr old boys. Booked the hotel because of their water park. My 10 yr old got disappointed for not being able to go to the 2 slides because of his age and height requirement. I guess there were 3 slides. So my 2 sons ended up going in different slides. My kids have been int he water parks in the US without any hassle as long as there is a parent consent. I know they have their safety regulations. I should have done a research on that before making the reservation. Had I known about that requirement, we could have just extended our stay in Plantation Bay .

Other than that, the hotel is huge and has a lot of restaurants. They have a small beach but it's clean. their facilities are great. The room where we stayed at is clean.
The hotels guests are 98%, Koreans.

A fine hotel overall, but there is no "real" beach.
What aggrevated was that kids under 8 were not allowed on two of the three slides and anyone over 150 pounds were not allowed on two of the three slides. In sum, I could go down none of the slides that my children were allowed to go on. Why is it that other water parks have a 250 pound weight limit while this place limits it to 150 pounds? And rules are strictly enforced. I was sunburned after the first day and was summarily ejected from the lazy river on day two as cotton T-Shirts are not allowed in the pool. Doesn't do much for customer service - i.e. if you're sunburned, you should simply stay in your room and since the kids are too young, the entire family needs to stay there since wearing a T-shirt is verboten..... It could have been oh so fun for the entire family.......but came up short......

The hotel has over 500 rooms and about half are suites. The service was excellent from the moment we check in. I was upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite and the room was great. All the amenities you expect are there plus a big tub/shower area. There is a free form pool and a great water park with 3 different kinds of water slides. There is also a children's water park pool area the kids would love. Finally, they have 5 restaurants inside the property to choose from: Chinese, Korean, Filipino, continental buffet and the beach resto. Definitely this property is posed to be the next big hotel in Cebu!

Room Tip: Upon check in, politely request for a suite upgrade, since they have so many suite rooms, most likel...
