First started coming to Calea when it opened in the mid 1990s. It became a favorite afternoon date place for my wife and I because of their very good pasta cooked just perfectly al dente, and the very delectable pastries. We would take some prune bars home even after our meal.
Through the years the once tiny place (3 small tables in a cozy nook) across L' Fisher Hotel has expanded several times, but the quality of the food has remained the same.
Great place for a heavy late merienda. Being the capital of Sugarland, you would expect that the people in Bacolod would know how to make and appreciate good sweets and pastries. Visitors from Manila actually take home whole cakes with them on the plane!
