We stayed here for three days. Good buffet breakfast. The bathroom is just ok... What I like is the entrance of the Hotel. It's not a very busy location unlike the other hotel where my kids stayed for the MTG training. It's quiet.. And there's a seafood restaurant just across the street and a coffee shop nearby. Friendly staffs...

Pretty good for the area. Clean rooms, decent outdoor pool, nice asian restaurant, nice bathrooms, and nearby public transportation, shopping, and restaurants. Go for the breakfast buffet in the lobby restaurant - lots of options and even has an omelet station.

We stayed in the Sarabia Hotel in Iloilo for our wedding reception for a few days in mid July. We stayed in executive rooms which in fairness were quite old but not bad at all. However our reception was quite dissapointing. The food was cold, there was only 1 waiter on to server close to 100 people, we didn't even get time to eat our meal. We just found the overall experience v amateur for such a highly respected hotel - beware if you're planning on having your wedding here!

i really thought sarabia manor is the best hotel in iloilo. i was very wrong. we went to iloilo for a conference and the venue was at the hotel. well, the facade looks really grand on the outside but definitely not on the inside. when we arrived the aircon wasnt working. the remotes for the tv and the aircon wasnt working well as well. we stayed in fifth floor and there was no water for three days straight. it was really terrible. they just brought us like three pails of water everytime we took a bath and they didnt say sorry for the inconvenience or anything. they just said they cant do anything. the staff is also terrible. the housekeeping puts down the phone before you even say goodbye. i will never stay in that hotel again..it sucked

I booked 3 rooms for a weekend stay to attend a wedding in Iloilo. Two of the rooms booked were supposed to be deluxe rooms, but I did not see anything deluxe about the accommodation. The sink in room 325 is cracked, the closet doors stuck, the carpet stained and thinning, and the towels frayed at the edges. I had to request for decent towels everytime, if not, they gave us the same frayed, yellowish towels. Room 318 was no better. One of the rooms booked was supposed to be a presidential suite, with outdated furnitures, and a real disappointment for the quoted 8000 pesos per night price. At two in the morning we woke up because the room got warm. We were not advised that the electric company has scheduled a power interruption from 2 to 6 am. at 4 am we complained and no one came until 6 am. We did not know about the scheduled interruption until I spoke face to face with the front desk supervisor at 9 am. If you have other options I suggest you explore them first unless you are prepared for battle.

Stayed at Sarabia for 5 nights total in a Deluxe room. Not all the rooms are the same! We stayed in one room for the first 3 nights that was just ok – dark room, tap in the bathroom sink leaked and shower was not too good. The second room we stayed at for 2 nights was much better. I would advise to check the room before accepting. Daily buffet breakfast was good. The staff was always nice and accommodating. I had no problems at check in / check out.

The staff were friendly but the hotel was rather shabby. It was almost like it was not kept up properly. The best part was their breakfast. I requested washcloths and they thought I was crazy. I never did get washcloths. The room was fairly clean but the hallways smelled really bad of mold. I would recommend the hotel though because I think it is one of the few that are decent in the whole city. I think the only one better is the Grand Dame. The Italian restaurant was really bad. I don't think the hotel has any idea what Italian food is supposed to be. The American-style restaurant adjacent is mediocre at best. I recommend going out to eat rather than stay at the hotel. The thing to remember is that the staff are nice and that you are in a town/country with different standards than America.
