Everytime I am in this part of the world, I never fail to visit. Recently under new management I found the quality of the service and the food have not changed one bit. A little bit on the sombre side but definitely atmospheric.

Only on the island for a week, but visited this restaurant twice. The service couldn't have been better. As we don't speak French, it was not always easy to make ourselves understood, the waitress was very patient and helpful. Highly recommend the spicy black pudding and chicken curry. Give it a try, you might be surprised.

My girlfriend and I stopped in this liltle restaurant to enjoy a 3-courses diner. the cooking is tasty and the service is good. Try one of the 2 tables upstairs on the little balcony to get a more romantic ambiance.

This is a lovely restaurant with a nice atmosphere and friendly, helpful and efficient staff. The food was very tasty and we had one of the best meals of our stay here at P’tit Zinc. We had the “carri d’espadon” (swordfish carri) and the trio of “carris”, which were very, very flavoursome and came with rice, lentils, Chinese greens and a selection of spicy salsa/rougails. By the end of your main meal you’ll be wondering whether you can fit desert in – make sure you do, as they’re yummy too!

The only thing I can think of to criticise P’tit Zinc for is the lighting, which is really bad! However, this is a very, very small negative and other people may refer to it as “mood lighting”!

If you’re in St-Gilles-les-Bains make sure you eat at P’tit Zinc, as it shows Creole cooking at it’s best.
