This is a great little hotel which is unfortunately located right next to the main road. Because of this, some care needs to be taken in requesting a room - if you end up with a room at the back of the hotel, expect to be woken very early with the start of the northbound traffic heading into Saint Denis and don't expect the noise to let up until late in the evening. So the top tip with this hotel is to request a room on the pool side of the hotel. The absolute bonus of the hotel is the pool - absolutely refreshing after a day in the Indian Ocean heat. And if pools are not your thing, it's a two minute walk to the beach for some saltwater refreshment. Rooms are tiny and only just fit the double bed, but they are clean (which reigns supreme in my world), and also house a small bar fridge (for storing refreshing drinks). A small corner shelf, I think, was supposed to be a desk - all it's really good for is putting your bag on it as it would barely fit a laptop let alone anything else. But, you're not going to spend all day in your room on La Reunion, so as long as you request a poolside room, this hotel is ideal, particularly for the price. One thing to note is that reception is only open at particular times (primarily business hours with an hour closure over lunch and very limited on the weekend), so you need to organise with the owners access to the property and your room if you arrive outside of those hours.
