Two of my colleagues and I spent two nights at the hotel whilst doing business at La Port.
The check in was fine - a very helpful and pleasant lady helped us check in - in English
The rooms are far from luxuries.
They are old and in desperate need of upgrade.
Our room was described as superior- I’d hate to see the standard.
The room was clean however.
The TV didn’t work - the aircon was old and noisy.
You have to stand in the bath if you wanted a shower - and it’s a case of a drip drip shower.
The hotel itself is old and in desperate need of an overall upgrade. - and the hotel is not cheap.
The amenities were good - 2 large pools - nice bar - and restaurant.
The staff were generally friendly.
There is a gate that allows one access to the beach - there are lots of small bars and restaurants nearby.
In fairness this is only a three star hotel - and most of the people don’t speak English - then again why should you - the island is part of France.More
