If it weren't the positioning, far away from the city center (although close to a subway station), this hotel would get the perfect score. Friendly staff, excellent rooms and a sense of quality in everything.

Highly recommend for three nights or less. Thirty minutes by metro to the Kremlin area (without changing line) and you may have to stand part of the way, but it allows you to stay in a suburb and is cheaper than staying in the centre. After three nights I think the daily journey may become tedious.

There is a park directly opposite the hotel which is pleasant to sit in and watch Moscow life. If you turn right out of the hotel grounds and walk to the first junction, to the left is a shopping mall with a courtyard eating area (McD, KFC etc) and an American Grill with a menu in English. We had two pleasant meals there with good service. There is also an Azerbaijani restaurant at this junction with good food but the menu is not in English.

Our room was clean and very quiet and we did find it pleasant to come back to an orange drink and packaged cake each day from the mini bar. The breakfast Was more than adequate to set you up for the day - both hot and cold buffet.

Hotels in Moscow is more expensive than in Europe. So price is good comparing in Moscow. Location is good because 5 minutes walk to metro. Better location in the city center with this quality hotel costs you at least double price. Hotel is new , Clean, and modern decorated. Breakfast is good enough. I have been in Moscow hotels more than 100 times. So I do compare with others, not with your expectations.

We stayed in this hotel in our three-day visit to Moscow. This hotel is out of the Moscow city centre, but conveniently connected to the city centre by Metro system (RUB40 per ride). It is just less than 5 minutes walking from the nearest Metro station, which is 25 minutes ride from Moscow's famous Red Square. The hotel is clean and come with great services and facilities (free mini bar, wifi, sauna, jaccuzi, breakfast buffet). We loved the sauna and other fitness facilities, which is free to use. The staff at the reception speak good English and are very helpful. We had a room on the top floor (12 floor) and had a great view of Moscow sub-urban. The breakfast was better than many hotels that I had stayed in the past, with great variety of the selection of hot foods. There are plenty of eateries nearby the Metro station, not far from the hotel. There are cheap and definitely ideal for budget travellers. There is however, nothing to explore near the hotel, apart from the cheap eateries and a few supermarkets. If you need invitation letter to apply for Russia visa, this hotel can provide free invitation letter; whilst many other hotels charge you for this service. This hotel is good and I will definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a value for money stay in Moscow.

I stayed here in 2012 and found the hotel very comfortable and the staff were excellent. I had a slight shower problem and within minutes I was transferred to another room, an upgrade into the bargain! Breakfast was always fresh and plentiful and I had a couple of good dinners. One evening there was a very noisy wedding reception but once in my room I couldn't hear it at all. I'm looking forward to returning in September
Make sure you use the metro at Prazhskaya and not the one my independent tour guide took 4 stops away - got lost on my return from the City and had to take a taxi back to the hotel - a tour guide should have known better.

we where staying at this hotl for 4 nights, it supposed to be 4 stars hotel but looks more like 2 stars.
the rooms are small, and not very beautiful. the stuff barely knows english and the spa area is poor.
you are very far from the AIrport (hour driving) and from the city center. the good point is that you are near the Metro.

The property is located in an unpromising area that looks a bit like a bomb site... but in fact it is fine. Everything works, lots of hot water, free quick Wi-Fi, OK breakfast, and OK restaurant meals. You need to take taxis or a five minute walk to the Metro to get anywhere, but that's OK.

The only note of caution is the billing procedure. I have pre-paid via Expedia, and then allowed a charge on my credit card for "extras"... and on my final bill it looked like I had been charged again for the room. I hadn't, and this was explained to me before I left... but in fact I had been charged, but with a matching credit. I have no idea why this (weird) system is what they operate... but it seemed entirely normal to my Russian colleagues... it's just a bit odd, that's all.

So, all in all a strong recommendation, very popular with foreign tourists... and inexpensive.
