Me and my girlfriend stayed at the hotel for 3 nights in December. We were visiting Moscow as tourists. The hotel is very nice, good facilities, great breakfast buffet and staff are friendly (for Russia). There are several bars and restaurants as well as gym, pool etc.
The rooms were immaculate and cleaned well daily. though one day our coffee, tea etc wasn't topped up. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was lovely and warm, especially as it was -10 one night. The rooms are very soundproof though we could hear the Moscow arena which was being used one night. The shower room was good though no bath in it.
The hotel bar and restaurants were very expensive but high quality. A 0.5 litre was as expensive as £8 on one menu. Breakfast also works out about £20 a day.
The location isn't bad, only 4 stops from red square but the metro station is about a 10-15 minute walk. Though the metro stations are a tourist sight themselves so worth the visit. There is also a supermarket next door.
Overall it was a great hotel but the destination of it is more suited to business travellers as opposed to tourists.More
