“Price vs Location”
Reviewed 3 October 2010

Had to make changes to my plans which meant arriving a day late on a pre-paid rate. Hotel was accomodating although when checking in this created a little concern as my reservation was not found by stating my name however on production of the confirmation number this was quickly rectified and a nice suprise followed in the respect that I had been upgraded to a suite(Thank you Renaissance).

The hotel is located close to a busy road and this does create noise within the room. The room is well appointed with all amenities one could require. It is well laid out the bed is very comfortable. Toiletry supply is good and the bathroom clean and functional.

The only real downside due to the location and lack of taxis is that prices within the hotel are quite high. Staff could improve their English as many times had to repeat myself but that was a minor problem.

Iwould like to say that Gabina (I think that was her name) on reception was extremley helpfull and I would like to commend her on her approach to guests. Quite impeccable.

Free WiFi was also a bonus.

I experienced true hospitality in Moscow after many years of visit. I tried many hotels in Moscow but this one is really exceptional and deserve special recommendations.
Restaurants are well managed, well behaved staff and In a nut shell value for money.
Only slight hiccup for old people may be 7-8mnts walk to nearest metro Dinamo and I feel it is worth walking.

Kudos to whole team.

I stayed at this hotel for one night during the business trip to Moscow. It was booked by the company I work at.

The hotel is located not very far from center and quite near to Dinamo subway station (about 10 minutes walk). There's a highway near the hotel, but no noise is heard in the rooms.

The receptionist was nice until he heard that the room was paid by my company, not me. He immediately changed. He called someone and asked to close the mini-bar at my room. It was very strange.

I had a room which was actually two rooms. It was actually booked for the price many 3-star hotels claim for much smaller rooms. And I was relly surprised to see the room. It was very spacy. First room had two sofas, a chair, a magazine table, a cabinet and a large TV. The bedroom had a large bed, a smaller TV, a closet with an iron and ironing board inside, a chest of drawers.
Bathroom was really big with a shower and a bath. There were many towels, soaps, washes. Everythnig was extremely clean.

I decided to have a shower, when someone knocked on the door. It appeared that that was a man who came to lock the mini bar. It was even more strange, because about 20 minutes passed after I entered the room already. He was quite polite, wished me good night and left.

The internet access was free only in the lobby and that's quite a shame for such a good hotel. But as I noticed, the more expensive the hotel is, the more probability is that they will charge you for the some things that are free in cheaper hotels. And vice versa actually.

Air conditioner was adjustable in both rooms. Sleeping was good. No noise at all.

The breakfast was gorgeous. Good choice of ham, cheese, snacks, even some red caviar. Pancakes, pastries etc. I haven't found the tea at the tables, so I asked one of th girls working there, she told me that the tea is on the tables where I've looked alreay. Then immediately another girl came up and told me that she will bring the tea. And she did it. That was really nice though not obvious.

Overall, it's a very good new and clean hotel with a great breakfast. Staff is not very friendly and internet access is not free at your room.

We have stayed in the hotel for 3 nights for business. The location is better as the other travellers report. it is just minutes away from Belorusskaya Railway Station which is pretty central. Metro station Dynamo is just meters away. The problem in Moscow however are the traffic jams which can occur anytime and everywhere, that makes the hotel a kind of unconvenient, since you cannot walk to a restaurant or smth and you are to take a taxi ( which is pretty cheap) and stack in a jam almost all the time.
Just a few meters from the hotel is a cheap Uzbekh restaurant and a very beautiful but extremely expensive french restaurant. Ask the concierge.
We like the rooms very much, the bathroom was big, but a kind of very functional. You have only soap, bathgel, body lotion and shampoo, the amenities are not replenished every day ( but they are a 4star hotel, so I assume, that's OK). Breakfast buffet was good.
The staff very friendly and helpful.
The only seroius problem, since they advertise themselves as a business hotel: the free WLan internet is very slowly, it is almost impossible to use it. Very disturbing!!!
In general, a very good choice if you have a good deal.

Very classy new hotel. Good value on room ratel Helpful staff. 10-15 minute walk to metro which can be annoying, but once on metro relatively easy to get anywhere in Moscow. The rooms and lobby are beautiful but breakfast buffet quite expensive. Room are very quiet. Would definately stay there again.

The hotel has everything you would expect from a 4-star hotel. Sparking new with a great english speeding staff and quality restaurants. Free Wi-Fi in the lobby helps reduce costs. The only problem is the location mid an unattractive neighborhood close to a highway. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the closest Metro, passing through bleak urban landscape. Closest restaurant is 15 minutes walk. We ended up using a lot of taxis to travel to the tourist attractions (about 10$ each trip). I seems that for business guests this is a great value, and the hotel seems to be packed with business people.
