I wasn't expecting a high-end lounge like Chinese restaurant with the low profile name like "Mr. Lee".

Directly opposite Tsum, the entrance is small, you are facing a greek style column leading to stairs to 2nd floor. Then some modern black and white photos at the stair case hints that this is not a traditional outfit. Indeed, it is not.

We tried some dim sum, pricy, but the presentation is outstanding, tasty too. The fried noodle and rise dishes are outstanding. The Peking duck is not what we used to, it is more like roasted duck cut to small pieces. The traditional/ authentic Peking duck, should be duck skin with only a tiny bit of meat attached.

In all, best quality Chinese food we found in Moscow, and price is also associated with the quality.

Food great, both lamb and beef tender & seasoned to perfection. Fresh ingredients were used for the most part.
Steamed and coconut rice cooked just right.
Starters well presented and portioned well, shouldn't be less though given the prices, which I have to mention at this point.

Service:
....wouldn't know where to start. Possibly the worst service to price ratio I've had in 10 years.
Drinks and food served straight to your face, pretty much from any side except the correct one. We ordered sparkling water and 30 seconds she came back to ask if we wanted water.
No tasting sip was given by the pretentious wine waiter, neither was served correctly.
Bottle wasn't kept at the table. We were wondering how quickly the bottle was empty when the waitress said it would be finished.
10min. later another waiter grabbed the bottle saying there is some left and if we wanted it.....
What the heck? I don't order a bottle to pay by the glass...
What was funny, too, he kept holding it against the light to say there is not much left in it, but it ended up being 2 complete glasses.
The service at our table would have been perfect for a hotel & restaurant university as a case of how NOT to do things.
With a bill of RUB 6000,- plus tip (curtesy tip really), this was beyond disturbing.

Much credit to the Chef/sous chefs and their crew. The food was a delight, you saved the evening.
The 3 point rating is only thanks to the great kitchen.

We have spent a very enjoyable afternoon in Mr Lee with our friends and 9 month old baby. The price might be a bit high but the whole experience (the ambiance, service & food) absolutely worthed. The staff was friendly & positive even some did not speak english they had no problem helping us, furthermore it is a very child friendly restaurant.

Mr Lee is one of the Novikov restaurant. This means that vegetable are always fresh and tasty. They mix cuisine from Asia with some european and russian flavor. I particularly recommend you the finger of Kamchatka crab pepper curry. It's very tasty and those crab (as big as dogs) are really impressive in the aquarium
