“I think this hostel a little dirty”
Reviewed 12 September 2013

The location is OK. But the staff not good at English. You can take the Metro to the Hostel. The Hostel is ten minutes can go to the big supermarker which is very beautiful. There were two floor
each floor have a bothroom , one toilet and kitchen. The Kitchen's utensil was not very clean and not enough. If more guest live in the hostel. It may take long time to queue in the toilet and bathroom. You can walk to the Kleman Palace and red square . There were many restaurant at the street. But I don't think I will live it again.

Room Tip: the upper floor is better than the first floor.

I, too, was a little shocked by the old and ripped synthetic bedlinen, but that's probably my only complaint. Well, the other thing is that common areas are rather small: the kitchen is minimal and the sitting-down area near the reception is narrow. That is compensated by the presence of a desk and office chairs in the 6-bed room. Three people were living there on a permanent basis and that contributed to the laid-back, safe and friendly atmosphere. I heard a guest say they like this room much better than the 8-bed room where a party of guests comes and goes every night. Also, the 6-bed room happens to be larger. So if the whole experience was a little rundown and dorm-like, it was still a good stay.

The location is central; the historic apartment building is great-looking and has high ceilings. There aren't many food stores or eateries around (or rather, the good ones are expensive), but that's the character of this neighborhood: it's upscale and leisure-oriented. There are four blocks of open-air restaurants and bars right around the corner.

Room Tip: 6-bed room is better and larger than the 8-bed room.
