That's the goods!
Have completed two stays at the Crowne Plaza Moscow lately, and both have been pretty excellent. Staff are pleasant, the hotel is clean, comfortable and modern with excellent king size beds and work space. I've no reason not to recommend this hotel in a vibrant part of Moscow. It's not particularly central, but is away from the hustle and bustle of busy streets also. I will return again undoubtedly!

Stayed for six nights at the end of April. Had a room facing the river, which was very nice. The weather was warming up and the hotel had not switched over to Air Conditioning, so the first few days were on the warm side. You can open the windows, and that helped a little. Some rooms have small balconies, which have an obstruction of the view on either the left or right. My room had a bow window which made it easy to see up and down the river. The Ukraine Hotel is across the river and lit up at night. My room had an ample closet, but my colleague's with the balcony had a small closet and had the problem that a previous reviewer mentioned (safe in the way of hanging clothes). Best bet is to inquire as to the style of the closet when you check in. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was a little small for an upscale hotel, but it had plenty of counter space. Odd thing about the hotel is that you need your room key to go up AND down the elevator. Breakfast buffet is $33.50 and was OK - not great, but it is the only thing available in the AM. I think you can get coffee and croissants at the bar (didn't try). There are no breakfast restaurants nearby. Room service was prompt and the quality was good. You need to ask for butter with your bread. There are only a few other restaurants nearby (not in the hotel complex), but there are a number of restaurants in the complex. There is also a bank at the far end of the complex (you'll need directions) for exchanging money and a grocery store (yes, a real grocery). Laundry service was good, but expensive. Metro is about a half mile walk. The hotel is between the Russian White House and the Expocenter - both within a 10 minute walk (with good weather). Old Arbat is about 1.5 miles away. The staff were friendly and helpful. They helped me to understand how the Metro works so I could head down to the city center and not get lost.

Second visit to this hotel, not so much change from my last stay. Maybe just the breakfast is less attractive. The room still in the standard and clean. The service was great. the check in and out was quite fast. thanks to the front office manager to speed up the registration.
The only bad point still the overall price. i was thinking maybe they decrease the price to attract more customer

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights on a business trip. So i just need a good bed, quiet aircon, breakfast. The hotel was clean, quite quiet and i had no probs with the facilities and the service.
I did not actually try out typical business facilities like WLAN or busines centre etc.
The breakfast was pretty expensive at 1100 Rubels (25+ Euros), so were the drinks at the hotel bar. But this is normal for Moscow. At least there is a cook that makes omlettes to order - that's a plus.
The hotel is still relatively close to the centre, either via taxi, metro or even on foot if you don't mind walking a few miles - the Arbatskaya street is actually on the walk between the hotel and the Kremlin - one evening walked there and also back.

Friendly reception - perfect English (not always obvious in Russia). Pleasant open ground floor area with open bar and meeting area. ATMs next to elevators worked fine and requests for taxis etc always welcomed with a smile.
Rooms clean and well-stocked with all appliances working and complete. Couldn't ask for more, although price is typical for Moscow business hotel- expensive but expected.

A huge complex attached to the World Trade Center. After a warm welcome with friendly smiles of Alexandra and Ludmilla, you"ll find a comfortable room. Ask for a room with a view on the river. Very strong point is the selection of bars and restaurants in the hotel.
Especcially during the cold winter months, it;'s no fun to step outside in Moscow's freezing climate. You"ll have the choice of 4 restaurants, a pub, a bar, and a coffee-place; also the swimming pool seems a great place (lot of people praising it), but I have not yet been there. Finally there is a rather strange feature in the middle of the Atrium. A huge pole with a rooster on top, screaming every hour. Rather annoying. Maybe this is the giant Russian version of a German cuckoo lock.

Dear BernardusL,

Thank you for your review.
We very much appreciate your views regarding your stay with us.

We are also pleased to inform you, that we have considerably turned down volume of the rooster and reduced the time interval, when it’s active. Our clock is no longer annoying. Nevertheless it still shows an interesting performance with Russian fairy-tale characters.

Wу will be glad to see you again at Crowne Plaza Moscow World Trade Centre.
Our staff will do their utmost to make your next stay with us even more comfortable.

Sincerely,

Elena Belashova
General Manager
