The park is very picturesque, especially during the late spring early summer. Within the park is the tomb of the unknown soldier which is guarded from sun up to sun down. I highly recommend viewing a changing of the guard, every 30 minutes. The top of the Grotto gives a great bird's eye view of the park which contains the entrance to the Kremlin.

Situated just outside the Kremlin Walls, Aleksandrovsky Sad is a stunning garden with water fountains and the tomb of the unknown soldier a must see.

It was an ok place to walk through while we were on a mission to locate other attractions. Nothing exciting enough to make us stop and take our time. It was pretty, but that would have been because of the snow - everywhere is pretty when it is covered in snow.

Too many fences, guards and unpolite people. Crowds everywhere and very humiliating approach to security and visitors.

In the heart of Moscow, adjacent to the Red Square, it is a lively place and easy access. In December 2018 there was a huge ice carpet slide and lots of kiosks for holiday shopping. Very safe and beautiful walk for the whole family.
